Join a squadron, this is how squadron battles go, 8v8
Iâd love for there to be a short version of the Simulator mode like this, each team is given some Intel and an objective that the other team may or may not know. Like something close to this could be: Soviets are tasked with capturing and securing a small town and spawned in a column on a road headed there while fighters are spawned on airfields nearby. Meanwhile the Swedish team is tasked with repelling the attack and knows where the Soviets will come from. Swedish tanks could have 2 spawns to choose from, one in the town and one to ambush the Soviets. If the USSR takes the town they win, if their force is destroyed Sweden wins. Plus you could have some maps with naval objectives to have all 3 types of units work together in the same battle.

@@Jake-dh9qk I don't see a JAS in that designation so it is probably just a Fighter, u would need a JAS aircraft for all those roles, JAS stands for Jakt, Attack och Spaning.
Hi, the reason Swedish aircraft has reverse thrusters is obviously so that they can land on short distances such as roads. This is because we were afraid that if the Soviet attacked they would target our airbases first. So to prevent them from knocking out our elite airforce was to make small random airbases on the countryside by roads throughout the entire country.

This my friend could bring more people in this game mode, but it takes a lot of coordination to do something like this in war toonder
Yeah, lets say soviet / russian army's CAS tasked with >supporting friendly tanks, therefore if tanks got destroyed - (cas loose exactly), and swedish planes are tasked with air superiority. Swedish tanks are tasked with holding the point for a known amount of time/killing enemy tanks/both. Naval here can support with artillery (dreadnoughts/destroyers(idk)), and their artillery can be more precise then normal one. Also it will deal more damage. All of this of course needs to be balanced, which i think gaijin is fully capable of doing.

2. They don't want to change the formula
3. they want to make quick cash
4. They want to streamline everything so infact instead of adding to sim battle theres more of a chance gaijin will just remove sim and only have it in events.

I feel bad for any new players becoming attracted by this, installing the game, and realising they start out with WW1 planes and have to either spend their life savings/grind for countless months to get anywhere _near_ what theyâre seeing here.
Gaijin is eventually gonna have to give everybody starter jets⊠or weâre all gonna be left behind, and these brand new vehicles and features theyâre making for modern vehicles are gonna completely go to waste.

edit: just checked out of curiosity and an F86 is worth 50 bucks while that's the standard price of a full IL2 module including 8 aircrafts + 1 map and new missions, the monetization in war thunder is truly laughable.

On the MiG-27 "Flogger" the GSh-6-30 had to be mounted obliquely to absorb recoil. The gun was noted for its high (often uncomfortable) vibration and extreme noise. @@hemendraravi4787 It is more arcade than sim now, and I understand what you mean. I still enjoy the game for it's balance of realistic and arcade, but at the moment top tier realistic battles are literally just arcade battles with less HUD. Same awful gamemodes, same awful maps. Both of which are constantly antithetical to tank combat.
I recently started playing sim just for bigger maps that actually fit the vehicles we're using, but they're still awful environments made by people that don't know anything about tanks and don't even play the game.

This game is no longer focused in mid tiers, so 2 or 4 WW2 vehicles is a lot now, and consider yourself EVEN MORE LUCKY if said vehicles are not premium or one time event vehicles
2 years later and we are literally having Leopards fighting off T-90s :O
I *LOVE* the game... and the update looks amazing... But I just can't get myself to play anymore. I can barely make a profit in Sim anymore even with premium. So I've just decided premium isn't of any value anymore, and there's no point in the 30-60 minutes sim battles, for less profit than a 5 minute arcade.
Otherwise I'd still be playing 5+ days a week...

I play soviets so the mig-27 looks great, but it can be just mig-23 without radar and R-23 so probably it will be next su-17...Viggen is beautifull plane, but i wonder if they will add radar guided missiles like aim-7, beacuse 6x sweden aim-9b or worse aim-9j does not seem well...

Definitely. Most of the voices have been unchanged since 2012. Some added as new nations were introduced but I'd like to hear more stuff like in this teaser.

Man, The radio dialogue ingame for players really needs to be updated, more dynamic dialogue responding to flow of battle would be amazing aswell, rather than the usual we have now, would just change depending on player country.
