Great video it was very entertaining and fun watching you enjoy yourself and walk around at the faire. I live on the East coast so it may be quite some time before I get around to checking out the Texas Ren Faire. One thing that I noticed you had what you referred to as a Sheppard's Pie. I couldn't tell exactly what was in it, but It looked much more like chili to me than Sheppard's Pie as the dish you showed had what looked like varieties of beans. Traditionally the bottom layer of Sheppard's Pie is lamb, (hence the name) onions, celery, corn, carrots, and peas. It is then completely covered in a top layer of mashed potatoes. Cottage Pie is what is commonly and incorrectly sold as Sheppard's Pie in my neck of the woods, which is mostly the same dish but it substitutes the lamb with ground beef.
The weather has been so nice! Hopefully it'll stay like this when I go on the 14th!

Hoping things will have calmed down a bit medically to where I can go and in all honesty... I absolutely forgot about it until it was too late. The whole month of September went by so fast. Haven't been on social media much just long enough to check for messages... I miss You and that Sweet Hubs... My favorite-ist Couple in the whole wide world...

I was at the faire the same day with my parents and I actually saw us as you walked across the bridge into the garden. I am wearing a green top with a brown skirt! I was standing behind my mom in a blue dress while my dad was getting a picture in his pirate type of garb.

There are a few places. Our favorite is all the way back in Sherwood Forest, on the right side, in the alcove. There is another spot though, if you veer to the right when you come into faire. It’s across the path from the Greek area.

Just fyi tickets are not 22$ they are closer to 50 per person for a day pass. Pirate weekend is always the best weekend
I believe they had them on sale for opening weekend at the kiosks. They have raised prices for most weekends now. Sadly.
Online tickets are like 27 a piece, at the festival they go up too 35ish

@@rob3998 no worries! I didn’t take it negatively. Still learning and improving and the music is something that irritates me too. Lol. It can make or break the video and cause monetization to be taken away.

That’s a good question! I’m sure if you just brought your own officiant and picked out a nice spot (like in the gardens area), you could do your own quick little ceremony with a very small group. But I would ask and find out for sure. Just in case.
