@@asakusa-tokyokitchen Hello! is there a difference between dried Japanese and Korean hijiki seaweed? I didn’t see you soak it in hot water but does it soften if you only soak in cold water?

Depends on the type of hijiki. Just follow the instruction on the package.

Sounds good I heard Hijiki seaweed was not safe due to high radiation in the sea water. I make this recipe using other seaweeds . Wakame nori Kombu .
