I have to ask why the rider on the bike kept sitting up acting like a parachute instead of fully tucking forward behind the windscreen?
I ride a supersport myself, I honestly have no explanation for it. It just doesnt make sense. It's even impeding the ability of the bike to accelerate, because the force of the wind against his body is helping the bike to 'flip over', thus him needing to reduce throttle. Also like you said more drag. The effect might be marginal, but in those races thats you need every ounce of performance you have to offer
Easier said than done when your adrenaline is pumping and you're holding onto a rocket for dear life..
That said, he was tucked in just enough behind the screen that when he pops out at the end of the run you can hear the difference.
As for the comment above: In all my years riding 1000's at 140+.. I've never felt a bike wanting to "Flip" from not being tucked.. blown off the back, maybe, but never flip😂
No matter how much you tuck on a 'bad launch', tucking's never gonna save you from looping, only the back brake can do that. lol

The bike has enough hp to flip if you dont close the throttle or use the rear brake. To get the maximum performance out the bike you should get the center of gravity as low and as far forward as possible. Also tucking reduces drag.
Again, the effects might be marginal, but they exist. There is a reason MotoGP riders go full tuck. If it wouldnt matter they wouldnt do it.

The only bike to beat the cars regularly is dani pedrosas MotoGP bike. With launch control and 270bhp it runs 8,5 qtrs.
On racing circuit those bikes run 7.9 low 8s

It's tricky,i was curious too and i did some searches,the car seems to be pretty maxed out ,or almost.Also Ferrari makes it very hard to do a tune.If i remember correctly HD Tuning tried an aftermarket exhaust and the car made 750 whp,quite less.However with some ECU tune they managed 810 whp. Is that great?Is that bad? i don't know.
Novitec has been providing that kit for ages for a sf90 - 1109hp

The fact a bone stock SF90 is that close to a highly tuned Turbo S shows how incredible of a car it is. Saw the title thought the usual Turbo S would just walk everything being modified but Danmm SF90 is nuts
Thats why I believe if you have the cash, a 911 Turbo S is the perfect tuner car, it punches waaaay above its weight in terms of what it competes against

Great riding! Very tough pushing that hard on that surface. Hats off to the rider. Porsche sounds amazing!! The Ferrari looks beautiful imho, and goes FANTASTICALLY well considering it's bolt standard.
