I'm excited to see this gorgeous campus when I eventually do tour in person. Is there a specific reason why you wouldn't recommend the Founders dorms?
Aww thank you so much! I just didn't particularly like that dorm because I liked the room and bathroom situation in Missions A (where I lived). I also didn't want to be the middle of campus.

I finally got to tour hear last week! The campus is amazing, but sucks that it was all closed down 😕only the SLP, the church, and a couple offices were open

Loved the vid girl, tysm for this. Iwas wondering how you liked living in San Diego. Does it have nice weather? IS the public transportation good/expensive? is it hard getting around the city? also, do they have a good premed program? tysm:)
Thank you so much :) I love San Diego and all my friends and family who have visited me love it so much! It is honestly such an amazing city. The weather is always nice here, usually in the 60s-80s all year round. Transportation wise I would recommend having a car if you can. I dont know many ppl who using public transit.
And we dont really have a premed program. We have a nursing program. But most of my friends who are planning on med school are majoring in Behavior Neuroscience which helps to prepare you!

Amber Beau yes we have a really good psych department, thats actually my major haha. And yes there are many on-campus jobs for students who have work study as well as those who don’t!

Hi! I’m from chicago looking closely at USD. I currently attend a private mostly white high school by mt. greenwood. how do you feel there as a person of color ?
hey! Im actually from Chicago as well. I honestly was not looking forward to attending a primarily white institution, but once I got here I absolutely fell in love. The most important thing is staying true to yourself and finding people that identify with you. Most people here are pretty accepting and welcoming. My friend and I started a womxn of color circle which is a club for womxn of color to come together and discuss current issues and create a community.

Hey, so rn I am in between going here or asu. Do you like the school overall? I have heard it is full of very wealthy students and it is not very welcoming, is that true? Is it big enough to where you meet many new people?
Hey, so it is definitely a place filled with way more priviledged kids than your average school, but i wouldn’t say that it isn’t welcoming. Most people here are actually really nice and there are those kids that flaunt their money, but most don’t. You can definitely meet new people! I see new people everyday, but at the same time im always seeing familiar faces.

There are honestly so many different factors that goes into acceptance, its honestly up to the person who reads and reviews your application. And yes it is a really expensive school :( but applying for scholarships will help! And asking the school for financial aid as well

Do you get to pick your dorm??
you kind of do, its based on the LLC you choose. I think on the website it says which LLC goes with which dorm, but tbh I would just choose the LLC based on the dorm you like. Its not guaranteed you will get your first choice, but a lot of people do.

We do have sororities! And theres really no issue with them, if you watch my next video, I explain a bit about sororities

Is there a music building?
we have a music department, but there isn't really a building that is just dedicated to music.
Is it near the beach? Or how long does it take to get to the beach?
We are pretty close to the beach, its about a 15 min drive

It honestly is getting better, I think USD is trying to accept more black students into the university. Honestly all of the black students know one another and joining groups like BSU is very helpful to meet more black people.

Not everyone is catholic/christian, i would say maybe half of the students are religious and the other half are not
