The best show of the year! What a way to start, Samuel's is a genius. As a born and raised and practicing Christian, this show shows Jesus' power and not the other way around. Ignorance is a disease. The best show, music, plot, performance all. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

When he performed that miracle by walking on water I was honestly kind of shocked. How did he do it? I'm not sure.

Lakeith is definitely elite. Remarkable in every role.
It had me laughing genuinely! Had me sad asf too. The story was MWA!..😭when i saw people saying its bad, i was like "bro.😐" The acting was GOOD! All my fav black actors here and people SLEEP when i say lakeith is good. And rj being my fav too! 😂

Dawg! Great review. I really enjoyed what I could actually focus on in this movie. It was so cold in the theater that I couldn’t concentrate lol but yeah I agree with everything you’re saying.
I actually thought they did a really good job of respecting the personhood of Jesus. They didn’t make him a joke at all. This a movie that takes place AROUND Jesus it’s not ABOUT Jesus at all.
Got a lot of laughs and a lot of heart felt moments out of this one. LaKieth is definitely a star. I knew he could act but after Judas and The Black Messiah I knew what it was fr. Not to mention Sorry To Bother You.
Sorry to hear about the cold theater. I’m already knowing it was rough😅but yes the film centers around Jesus and I think that is where folks got things twisted haha. This is a movie that really makes one appreciate the creativity and craftsmanship of Jeymes Samuel. Lastly, LaKeith Stanfield is the shining star in all this🙌🏾Sorry to Bother You is mad underrated.
They were maybe 2 or 3 scenes that took me out for a sec to give it a 8/10 rating , but overall this film was definitely well put together and I really hope it’s highly nominated for next years Academy Awards…
I would love to see it get nominated for some awards next year, but knowing the Academy, they’re going to completely dismiss it.

According to Jeymes Samuel’s Breakfast Club interview when the movie premiered, he stated that his next project may be in modern day, but he really wants to do a space film and represent US in the cosmos

I like some aspects of the movie and find other not to my liking. I am definitely interested in the unique style of the director. There is room for improvement and he has the potential. The cast was great in general, but I have to say Benedict Cumberbatch slayed! 😂❤
