Those crabs look delicious 🦀
I’m impressed by how long they keep the crabs alive before breaking them down. That’s vital to fresh crab and this company doesn’t disappoint. I also appreciated their efforts at cooking, cooling and packing. Every process adds great value to a normally fragile and short lived product. Well done!
But I still prefer full body king crab without their cooking. I feel they are ruining the flavor
@@phoucngo6555 plus they leave out the head guts which is best part
@@andulee5548 I agree … I love the head
@@andulee5548 Such a waste of perfectly edible (and delicious) parts inside the head shell of the of the crab.
Your comment is ridiculous
I just drooling over the crab love it 😊
From the video you can see that the entire crab is taken, regardless of size and gender? Usually female crabs are released with eggs, but everyone is taken on video. It is not surprising that soon there will be no crab left at all.
Right greed!!
Great music choice!
I enjoyed watching it. Thanks
great video, many people have no idea that the snow and king crabs are already cooked when they get to them frozen. sadly. one box, like the one at 7:47 time frame here, is nearly 500 bucks at costco. so, its too pricy for me, but i love the other choices, like snow crab, atlantic red crab, Dungeness crab, etc. I did some videos on some of those crabs, here on youtube (take a look) but i really enjoyed this video. good job.
That box isn't $500, it's more like $5K; at Costco you see 3 legs wrapped in plastic and styrofoam and that's a $300. I love crab so I always just look...
Yep I haven’t bought a box from Costco in 3 years when they were $22 a pound. They’re currently $41 at my Costco. It’s too bad cause king crabs one of my favorite eats ever…
I'm not asking for much just toss me 2 king crabs thru my phone screen plz.. omg the crab mustards inside the body shells are the best part
No doubt!
I like it but always scared to eat it in public
@@NayaWrapWe’re watching you as you eat!!!
*I'm amazed by the careful preservation of live crabs before processing. It's crucial for maintaining freshness, and this company excels in that aspect. The meticulous cooking, cooling, and packaging processes also contribute immense value to a delicate and short-lived product. Impressive work!*
Bro - The Company Really Should Send You A LARGE COMPLEMENTARY KING 🦀 FOR YOUR ❤️ FELT COMMENTS 👏👍👏

Lies again? Sea Boss USD SGD
Why is there sexy jazz music ?? Perfect combo😉 making me hungry!!!
Bless those guys that put their lives on the line and go out there to get the seafood for us....lord knows i love seafood❤❤❤❤
They get paid more than you know
@@QuanDiz Right. Crab sells for $50 a pound at the market and the fisherman got paid $8.50 a pound. That right at 600% increase for a product with a 30% waste factor. Who is making the money?
@@QuanDiz then go risk your life and don't bother coming back since you are so concerned about how much they earn
@@blamitdsz why? When I could pay guys like you to go get them for me.
@@denali9449 didn’t know that was the rate. A guy I know gets paid 30-40k in a couple months and he likes fishing. I guess nó everyone gets paid that much or depending on how much you catch
Oh my God. I am hungry for those crabs.....
Keep them coming it’s making me hungry
It’s amazing how long the oceans have endured us parasites
You say as if parasites are a bad thing. The keep the population from getting too big. Parasites play a vital role in the ecosystem.
Trust me there's tons of parasites in the whole ocean for us to eat.
Without us parasites the ocean would be overrun by king crabs. Think a little bit and you willl learn.
Speak for yourself nature worshiper. Haven’t you ever heard of THE FOOD CHAIN. Go eat some processed soy then.
It’s amazing how long the whole Earth has endured parasites, 😅
They cancelled the king crab season because there were no crabs left to catch
Will be ordering soon!!
Tough job on that ship. Feels good to work in the office on computers.

Woooooow! Great video. 🙂👍
Santa , all I want for Christmas is one box of King Crab. Please
Deadliest catch !!
Cool video, such a shame about the situation in Alaska with the King crab disappearing!
Overfishing by Asia.
Really???
That was interesting and informative 🤔
Wow.. This is Amazing! Awesome! 😊👍

Greeting's From INDONESIAN
Ok, the best dropped at the later part is so bad ass.
Great Video
God bless these guys and gals. This is where your Costco crab comes from…
No. Your COSTCO crab comes from Chile. It is not even related to the Alaska Red King Crab.
I feel bad for them BUT they taste so good 😮
Love the bumper music!!! Thanks!
The crabs remained so calm throughout the whole thing
So are the cattle as they march to their death to create steaks for insatiable throng of over weight humans.
love it just watching it pretty cool 😎
I like the background music, luv the blues.
Where tf Is the narrator
Great video
You stole enough clips from deadliest catch to be sued for copyright infringement
I could never work there… My first love is Alaskan king crab!! I don’t want to take the chance that I would end up hating it!!😮
🤣🤣🤣🤣lol so true 😂
I was thinking before reading your comment. I bet not one of those workers eats crab. 😁
YOU COULD ALWAYS SWITCH TO FLORIDA'S STONE CRAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is the center of the Crab used for making stock or thrown away?
Those boxes are worth their weight in gold. Send one my way. 😎
When I was 19 years old between high school and university, that spring and summer I worked on a cozy little cruise ship that routed between Victoria, British Columbia, and Skagway Alaska.
This was just a little over 50 years ago.
The crew dined on King Crab every day. For free. Along with fresh salmon and halibut - I enjoyed the marvelous fortune of eating no meat until the cruise season ended. It was all seafood.
The crab was delicious, huge and ridiculously plentiful back then. I completely took it for granted - everyone did. It was so ubiquitous that it was ridiculously cheap.
But that was then. The last time I had KIng Crab was 1982.
Nice
I worked same 5 contracts .on JUNO and Sea Producer !!! ( All alaskan seafoods ).. in russian Okhotsk sеа . It was a very good time ...Salute from Russia ....USA # 1 !!!
The worker who waved at the camera 5:48 was probably fired for screwing around on the job and slowing production 😂
Has anyone ever watched this from a crab’s perspective?
I was wondering how much it must suck to be boxers up like they were. The ones on the bottom must spend the rest of there time struggling.
The world has no more to give, at least some people got to enjoy it.
So true, but humans will keep up the rapid destruction until there is nothing left...
Once you've had King Crab with drawn butter, the others fall short.
Awsum frm da ocean 2 owa opuz
💯🤙🏽🥰😎👊🏽💪🏾👌🏽

Great tunes. :)
Lots of hand work
Wasn't there 1 billion Alaska crab gone?? We see who has them
Alot of lies..
King Crab🦀 is famous
This was just one boat’s catch surely this level of fishing is unsustainable 🤔 but it’s also amazing how many people are employed in this industry!
I agree, although this is considered somewhat of a pest in many parts of the world, because they strip life out of everywhere they go... leaving nothing behind. They drastically damage the native food chain, causing massive unbalance in the sea life.
Juicy crab took half of that lol
Happy employees are the best ones..
And off to the Bellagio kitchens in Vegas ...yum yum
White Gold, absolutely delicious.
Love me some crabs.
Faster people, faster! Take it all and feed the rich. Don't leave anything behind. We were here first, so let the next generation fend for themselves.
So good with. Butter
yep.....im hungry now. thanks alot! lol looks like some dangerous work to be honest. be safe!
i always wonder if the workers get to "all you can eat" crab while on the job
Wishful thinking,
pretty cool when I was a seafood manager I sold that brand in both snow crab and king crab.
I love fresh crabs body with shells the best
They appear to catch a lot more crab than the guys on Deadliest Catch.
Thank you who labor so well to bring us the goods.
What song are they playing and who is the artist???? Awesome music.
I love some blues n jazz but I came here to try and learn something besides how to play slick licks
Congratulations for documenting what may be the end of an entire industry, as the Alaskan crab populations have collapsed this year and harvesting has been almost completely shut down.
If we can stop over fishing for 5-10 years, the crab population will rebound. Butchered too greedy to do waht it takes to sustain the crab fisheries.
@@ms.annthrope415 When an average consumer investigates what it will actually cost to buy enough KIng Crab for a family dinner, then we begin to understand the voraciousness of the industry. There are very few foods that cost more per pound weight than this crab.
The same thing is happening to all the apex seafood targets: Bluefin tuna, Halibut as two other examples.
It is obviously what took down the Canadian/Newfoundland Grand Banks cod fishery - a resource that had bravely stood its ground for five centuries.
It's been 30 years since that fishery collapsed, and it never did come back in any commercially viable way.
Seafood, properly managed, could help supplement the feeding of a hungry world. But when seafood dinners in Manhattan are pulling in upwards of $200 a plate, the peasants lose out.
Looooot of money in that building!
all those workers scurrying around remind me of films about forest ants , working all the time bringing food to the anthill , eat, eat, and eat some more !
It’s sad that we don’t get this in South Africa or when we do it’s crazy expensive. Especially when normal natal crab is so common.
I tip my hat to the crabbers if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have good eat crabs 💯🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀
Now I know how they kill them and package them! Thx great video!
they need to give the kings a 3 year rest, let em get big again get the numbers back up
And upon what do you base this determination? There are no juveniles or recruit classes.
This sounds like the soundtrack to HBO after dark! Not complaining....
Looks like they do everything by hand

Man is probably having a good time
At about $400/crab you would be dancing too with that much money in the pot.
Never tasted a king crab 🦀 just to expensive but I bet there worth every cent
Regular king crab at $50/lb is a complete waste of money due to extremely small meat yield per pound. Jumbo at $70/lb is a bit better but still disappointing. Colossal legs are the only ones worth buying and they are $90/lb. To prepare a dinner for you, your partner and two guests with a a nice bottle of wine or two and a side of coleslaw will cost about $800. Also, people tell me blue crab is much more flavourful but it’s not available in my area. Obviously we no longer eat crab around our place, lol.
Crazy that in a few short generations that our great grand children wont get to enjoy this amazing, delicious gift from God due to our greedyness
Death by elevator music!!

Good eating, bring your gold card
im happy knowing that the crab fishers fortnite danced on those crabs in the process of getting it to plates
Até que um dia acaba...
I love you so much
How's it processed when the season is cancelled?
I want!!! Nom Nom Nom 🤤
Ok , we can send to you from Kamchatka ( rus )
China’s over fishing just like the lack of salmon today!
Now I do understand why one leg is like $10 at the Chinese buffet.
Hard work these men and women do. Still not enough pay for what you do on that ship. The weather dang it has to be so cold.
Payed 80 dollars for a AKC leg appetizer at Del Friscos.. would i do it again? Hells yeah 🤤🔥👌🏽
Hi
The fishermen can be seen dancing, maybe excited because they have caught a lot. Or have been stressed due to too long at sea.
The way king crab used to be processed. Due to decades of over fishing the days of commercial crabbing will inevitably come to an end.
Now I understand why it's so expensive.
Giant hideous sea spiders but daaaaamn good eating
This is insane
I use to work on a floating processor
Mass market , market creation - if boats & energy allow?
Can you buy the crabs whole if so where.
They like it ice cold
They are pretty rough when handling the crabs. No wonder they are always missing a leg.
I could never do this. I tried working on a stand by boat for Marathon oil once in the gulf of Mexico once we were out for a week and in for a week I made it 4 days out the first time before I was sick 🤢. The next time out we just did get out of the river before I got sick so I never went back and it was a shame because I loved that job
👍
