So we've finally come up with a trailer for the map. The FIRST trailer. Call this, the "Alpha" trailer. Nathan, or KillzXGaming, made the clips for this map, and I put them together and put in audio and all that jazz. But as you may be able to tell, KILLZ F***ED UP AGAIN!! The clips aren't in the best of shape, and we will DEFINETELY make a second trailer with far better quality than this. Our dearest apologies!

I don't know how many more people are going to be watching this video, but hi. I'm one of the devs of this map.
We began working on this map back in 2016, and we'd like to say that we've developed quite a lot since then.
Our creative ability, our styles, and our knowledge in Minecraft has since evolved drastically.

They make a crappy Mario pack but not a zelda pack? Zelda and minecraft go together so well!!!! It has to be a free switch exclusive as well.

It's my first time playing a Zelda game this month and out of curiosity I searched in here if there's someone insane will do the Zelda map in Minecraft and I'm not wrong. All I have to say is that you all did a great job on this project I'm happy to see this and proud.

EDIT - Oh my goodness, the quality of this is astounding! I'd definitely say this looks like the most polished OoT recreation as of yet. Although, I did notice there were no video clips of the Lost Woods or the Forest Temple. Was this a coincidence or???

Hey man, I know you're probably not on youtube anymore but that's fine. I just want to thank you for making such a huge project, it motived me a lot to do a remake of Ocarina of Time myself !
If you're reading this, by curiosity how much time did you spent working on that map?
I'm on Xbox one and it takes me some weeks too keep updating my measurements on everything because it's really uneven. To have it all together as one ain't happen lol. "This video ends and starts a new. He is using a computer so building could be faster." Since it's been 2 years for you, are you done yours because my art is better for a console system. If I had that computer updated graphics for minecraft it would be better then his. ( so putting everything together on this kinda game I can show you how I'm gonna fit it together) The forest runs into the way to Zoras place and into the village and I'm like wow.... come on now. But the game the tree is small and inside its 20-40x bigger 😆 I'm like this silly game. I'm playing it while I build it to likenesses. If you like to see it, text me here. Yes, I saw a video, it's amazing!! Even in the trailer here you can see, that he had a lighted deku stick and burned the spider web. And the music is made out of note blocks!!!

i tried making a OOT map in Minecraft but now that i see this i feel like mine is crap
+Tyler Knippel With alot of effort you can make anything with amazing quality, this project was built ground up from Kezonja, then my friend xEyelessx built all the temples, then i decided to help redstone everything together as shown in one of my previous videos. I built an xbox version years ago and looked very poor too, but your skills will evolve if you keep looking at quality builds and get design ideas.
KillzXGaming so you made this on PC. Okay but the problem with Pc for me is that my internet is really slow and mods dont work on my computer
There aren't any mods needed, map is only 50mb without texturepack so it shouldn't take too long.

This...is...wonderful!!! I love Ocarina of Time! Minecraft isn't just a game...it's pure art! This very recreation proves that perfectly! As a Nintendo fan, this kind of content brings a smile to my face! The devs of this map did a great job!

is the map finished? i was trying to play the first dungeon in the deku tree but i didnt have a shield for the deku scrubs and the boss didnt spawn so im wondering if i missed something or if i have to wait a little longer until its finished. Also i liked how dispensers were used for the deku scrubs. that was cool

are you guys going to finish the snow area, beach, and shiekah temple? the rocks and the path in kakariko village were still there.
hyperhedgehog7 No snow area in ocarina of time, shadow temple done, and no beach in ocarina of time either. This overworld as shown in credits and video description was made by kezonja and the beach and snow mountains was a refrence to majoras mask, we might make them into secret areas, but as the map stands now, hard to say any progress is yet to be made, takes alot of redstone, and more redtone, the more lag people will have.

you should make this a server map seriously, and by the way there already is a singleplayer oot adventure map that includes the fitting music for every area, seperate locations for areas that wont fit geograficly and all the dungeons

i am working on this map asswel in command blocks and i would really like to see the map now and if it is much further/better then mine i would love to help
i can def help with some command block/redstone creations (not the hardest ones like bosses)
I'm debating on continuing this map just because of how big the plans are vs the un opmized ways of minecraft + how updates kinda breaks the map at times. I'm really wanting to have mod api added in like how pocket edition has but if they have no plans on adding it in soon i'll likely just keep it as is. Bit of a shame as we got NPCs, and a lot more of a active feeling world, but with all the effort i just feel it would be too much for Minecraft to handle, atleast without mods.

This is a really amazing project. A lot of the links are broken (no resource packs to download) but regardless if it's uncompleted. It'd been amazing to run around just for visiting all the work you put in for locations. In any case, very ambitious and very impressive.
