I Do Remember Last Time I Was Building On Minecraft It Was Experimentation Though
I always struggle to make a city like this due to it's compact nature. The closeness of the buildings and things to consider for it to make sense. What buildings are going to go and what type of city it actually is. The location and terrain shape. The block palette, the theme, the shapes specially the diagonals which is VERY hard to pull-off. The roads and paths. The height differences of the buildings and the layout of the city itself. And to think some people can simply make it work is just so amazing.
A trick is to not look at the buildings themselves up close because if you focus your attention on a singular small house that they build, you'll see that it is very plain in shape and colors, but it is the far away view and the area around it that bring it it's charm

@@TheLoneWolf449 Well if it means anything this video actually motivated me to build something better and made me think on how to improve my own world. I compared my previous world to this and I improved my building techniques through other CZcams videos on tutorials. It inspired me to become a better builder than I was before. So if you compare something make sure to be in the mindset to learn from it rather than be disappointed by it.

I like the difference between this time-lapse and other time lapses. Normally, a time lapse would only focus onto one build, this one focuses on the entirety with a good pace. Excellent.

It’s a difficult yet common aspect to most good builds... houses on a diagonal are the result of months of experienced building

Shaders just make the game look more easy to watch imo. Turning it off feels like I'm plating the 1rst version of Minecraft.

@@urchhyy1253 It's minecraft after all. You have no furniture and if you're not building at a scale (they are not) you can't build proper interior in those small buildings. It's just for the looks although those are impressive...

Another masterpiece from the worlds best builders in my opinion. Watching your timelapses amazes me every time especially because you are compressing the work of months into 4 minutes so it seems like nothing. Your buildings and your color palettes are quite an inspiration for me to try out things. I'm just still wondering how you plan out the layout of such big projects like multilevel cities. Do you create this from a paper draft or are you building based on the landscape? I never really got this to work. Would be nice if someone with experience in this topic could answer this.
