    I put the GTR Ultras 2 in my 2017 Edge and the difference was absolutely amazing. I legit went and got an eye exam thinking I was losing vision driving at night. Turns out my vision is fine and the stock halogen in the Edge is just garbage. Easy install and they fit with the stock dust caps. Daytime running lights work fine and I get no errors on the dashboard. Just needed to rotate the bulb to get the chips at 3 and 9 to get back to the stock pattern.

How are they with rotating? I know with the S-V4 they have a small set screw that you need to constantly take in and out to adjust. I just recently installed these in my '18 dodge charger, and I'm very pleased with the performance. I previously had the GTR Lighting HID kit installed, and I'm glad I went this route. So if anyone is one the fence on spending a high dollar amount for these LED bulbs while also looking to improve your night time visibility... I say go for it! You'll be just as satisfied as I am. Being able to adjust these LED bulbs is just another advantage that my prior HID kit didn't have. 👍

    The grommets fell out because they are too small. The holes in your fancy dustcover are 28mm and the inside of the grommet on the GTR.A015 passthough harness is 21mm. They cannot be seated as they should. Obviously the two chinese companies involved do not communicate. I ended up not using the pass through cables and stuffed the antiflicker modules inside the cavity. It is tight but can be done. I was assured by HR there was no problem doing it this way. My question is this: The GTR Ultra 2 low beam bulbs have a fan and if i plug the large holes in the dust cover, will they run hot ?

Thx

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  Před 3 lety

      With those lights and that harness, you will still need the harness as that plugs into the back of the headlight housing via one connector, then disperses the power inside the headlight to the individual bulbs. Our bulbs will work just fine in your vehicle, you will just need to make sure that you select the projector specific kits on the website! It will if you use the extended dust covers. We put a link to them in the description.

    The thing you gotta remeber is it’s all fine a dandy, you’re bulbs are so fuckin bright it’s like u control the sun with the wonder stick beside your steering wheel... but if every cop you pass needs to pull u over to tell you your headlights are too bright that’s gonna get pretty annoying.
    I notice already way to many people with what i would consider to be an LEDuograde that are way to bright for oncoming drivers. It typically isn’t that they’re pointed wrong or have a bad cut off line either ( although sometimes it is) There’s a reason many companies only go a bit brighter then stock enough so you see well yet you don’t blind people like they’re being touched by an angel.

      When you see those aftermarket headlights that are blinding you or other oncoming traffic, that is actually not the fault of the bulb at all, it is installer error! When installing any new headlight bulb, even halogen, you may have to re-aim and align your headlights as moving that bulb socket can knock it around a little. With that said, when a bulb is miss-aligned you will be blinding oncoming traffic, and not getting the correct beam pattern which is not safe! I have linked a video on how to properly align your headlights and bulbs here: czcams.com/video/OIow5YgdRro/video.html

    How can I fix the random off problem on my 2015 Ram. I have the anti flicker mogule and the bulb itself has a canbus corrector. They turn on for a good while, but turn off randomly when driving or parked. Then they turn on or sometimes won't turn on at all. The headlights are the classic mirror type not projector. And the bulbs are auxito H11 with cooling fans. Super bright.

      I am sorry to say that there is no official fix out there for that vehicle, that is an issue that you see with any LED or HID product on any 2015 MOPAR vehicle! Your best bet would be to bring your vehicle into the dealership, and have them perform the TSB on the electrical system. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help!

    why do you not tell people these are not dot approved and not legal for street use except as fog lights?

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  Před 3 lety

      We actually do tell people that, and to even order them from our website you have to select a box either saying that theyare for fog light use, or that they are not for street legal use. This was just an older video that we made before the law changed earlier this year.

      I believe it was an issue with the camera shutter speed and that particular bulb.
