I'm having a wiper blade fault. I noticed on the mechanical station the top gear looks looks and has a Phillip head screw on it. I notice when I turn the gear the wiper blade moves some but not as much as the gear is turning. Makes me think it's loose. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What part of this wiper actually wipes the head, is it the curved side or the other side?
I found out it's the concave side that does the wiping. Thanks for taking the time to not answer my question.
