Its interesting! Generally spiritual fruits are never named. In the story of Eden they never mention an apple, and in the ancient myth of Atlas' fruits, I don't think they're ever specifically called apples either. The Arabian nights probably gets it from greek mythology, which probably takes it from the story of Eden (or a common ancestor to both), but I wonder when "fruit" became "apple"
