As a Newcastle fan I fully expected a 6th-7th place finish, didn't expect a Top 4 finish this early, maybe in 2ish years (transfer, injuries and everything else in between of course), I wouldn't mind a new CB, maybe another GK to provide cover. The transformation in Joelinton has been nothing short of exceptional. A new striker I think should be high on the list given Wilsons injury record. It's gonna be interesting to see how Eddie does next season for sure!
Newcastle imo would have been better off going into the conference league and getting that European confidence.
Yeah it’s gonna be especially hard for you to juggle both champions league and the league so you might see a slip in prem form and your position

I'm not a supporter but would like to see you do a Spurs rebuild please, I'm particularly intrigued to see how Postecoglou, or in this case you, try to implement (or replace) all his expensive specialist wing backs into a likely four at the back system. Otherwise definitely the relegated teams, taking into account all their likely departures. Cheers!
It’s a real conundrum for them isn’t it the wingbacks/fullbacks issue. I’ve been thinking about it and I think they’ve spent so much money on the likes of Porro that they are just gonna have to cop for it…
@@Clayts Exactly. Even stranger decision given it was pretty clear to everyone in January when they bought him that Conte was never going to stay. Then they've also got Udogie coming from loan haha

I'm a Newcastle fan. Next season I think we will finish 5-8th at least. Think CL will tire us out and our premier league campaign will suffer a bit but not too much. Bring in 4-5 new players (striker, winger, central midfielder, left back and centre back) and we will do very well next season. Mix in some youngsters in the side too and we will have a great balance

Joelinton would likely play wide left with Isak moving into the middle. Isak was a bit wasted out wide

Gonna join the Patreon I think. This is probably a pretty realistic window, but I might be a little disappointed. We have Champions League money, might as well spend it. We also have a thin squad that I don't think will be able to stand UCL football and high-table prem ball at the same time. I also really want to bring in Varela to push Bruno further up the pitch, or Tonali (my favorite player in the Serie A). Not a huge fan of Maddison, but he's an upgrade on the wing and potentially at the 10.

you should do this sort of rebuild with Villa as they have got European football for the first time in a while and have a lot of potential.

The 4 guys you signed have all been linked with Newcastle but barella and tierney want to stay Maddison wants to join Tottenham and todibo looks like he is going psg or Man U. Despite champions league and having more cash then god Newcastle dont seem to be able to get thier targets
