The reason this game got so much hate is solely because of certain elements from the multiplayer, the majority of players apparently forgot about the campaign, extinction, and the awesome score. Which to be honest is worth more than a lot of CoD games.
That and the fact that the game was already outdated when it launched. They chose a lower end to bring in the 360 and ps3 players, and it was a good marketing choice. Didn't age well because of it. Multi-player was pretty bad, and the campaign only had like 3 good missions, the rest felt like twice recycled elements from the last 5 games. It was a rehash in a long line of rigid formula rehashes and its not what we wanted. Even though advanced warfare doesn't do so hot looking back, it was a breath of fresh air from this game. Ghosts is as bad as you remember it when you compare it to competing studio titles of that year, there's a reasonnwhy bf4, despite how broken its launch, solidified itself as one of the most solid shooters of all time

I have the Xbox 360 Super Slim and I have had it for over a year and it still plays the games intended for Xbox 360 and I bought it off a local sell and buy group for $25 and I was impressed on how well it works.

It would be better if there was an entire army of Sino-Russian Alliance. Because I had read a fanfiction about CoD: MW3. There was a fan mission set in San Francisco. It was called "Golden Gate" and featured Sgt. Foley's "Hunter 2" team with a female USMC soldier named "Pvt. Claire Sanchez".
