You need to take the rails off the roof fully renew the wood battens inside if rotten then bed the rails back on with new screws. I had mine done twice where they just ran sealer at side of rails. That kept water in a Chanel. To run under rails. Simon at Custom campers knows his stuff. He did loads of work on mine

In a year or so the van will be tip top condition ans you'll be taking it up an s down the country every couple of months to spend a nice weekend with your family in it! Get in!
