- In this video I'll be sharing my testing results of the BougeRV CRPRO30 and the Ecoflow River 2 Max. The River 2 Max has a capacity of 512 Wh. I'll be running a series of tests in order to determine if the refrigerator/freezer can maintain set temperatures in ECO and MAX modes without running the compressor constantly.
Items used:
BougeRV CRPRO30 (30 Quart) Refrigerator/Freezer
Ecoflow River 2 Max (512 Wh)

Thank you. Awesome, no BS test. Waiting on delivery of the same unit
Thank you very informative
I think the discrepancies with the internal temperature thermometers is do to the variation in design and calibration of the thermometers. With that being said, I think that the fridge did well.
Awesome testing! We need more videos like this on the Internet
Just ordered one. Very nice review!
I have the BougeRV 30quart fridge and noticed there's nothing to tie it down. So I purchased some D-Ring Patches that get Glued onto Inflatable Boats, Surfboards, etc, and glued them onto the front and back corners. I'm sure you can think of many other valuable devices that don't have anything to attach ropes to. How's that for an idea?
Great job 👊🏾
We use the Top USB plug for a flexible USB Powered Light. When the door is open, we bend the light to shine down into the fridge, then when we close the lid, the light shines down on a cutting board we put on top, so you can see what you're cutting.
Your brand new compressor has a ring less lapped steel on steel bore. It's not broken in for at least a month. ECO is much kinder to the break in process. All my 12 volt chest freezers run on ECO, exclusively, for longer appliance life. This BougeRV chest is absolutely outstanding for insulation. If you must refrigerate for a long time with a tiny battery, place a gallon of sealed ice inside to add a day or two.
@@justmeonlyme forget about converting back and forth between 120 AC and DC. The chest freezer is way more efficient and useful on 12 DC. DC compressors are deliberately built to better standards and more durable than anything in the refrigeration industry and miniaturized to fill an uncharted need. Your power stations are just a short lived expensive nuisance. Chest freezers are for food handling and cold chain like photography handling and pharmaceuticals.
Sitting around is a sensible precaution when refrigerant oil has been spilled into the thick pipes. There's also a bulging filter to catch any metal shards and welding particles. The hardest seal is the electrodes. I suspect there's a plastic barrier inside the ceramic so the tiny grams of freon won't leak for decades.
I just ordered 30 quart not the Pro and also ordered the insulation cover i will be running this on the Eco Flow River 2 Pro with 220 watt Solar panel and will see what kind of results i can achieve in while i'm out in the wilds...lol
Anything is better than using Ice especially as im finding it hard to find ice lately on the main hwys, as it is now peak season for tourists, usually can find it when you go into the small towns off the hwy in the Canadian Maritime provinces.
Am wondering how long it would take to kill the Battery in a Pickup Truck with Engine not running. Great informative Video - Thanks
How does the unit know when to turn on the LED light for interior? i didnt see how door switch.
There is a magnet hidden in the side of the lid. There is also a hidden magnetic switch near the LED light. When the lid’s magnet gets close to the LED, it turns off (when lid is shut).
So this is good for my ice cream and meat right?
