I built a 50ah 12v DC system with a 100w panel and I just ordered this fridge because of the simplicity! No light no basket, simple controls and 30qt will hold way more that my yeti 45. Great review! Thanks for that!
Great review! BougeRV listened and acted as the 12V 30QT model now comes with places to put straps on as well as an interior light. I think I'm sold. LOL
Instead of getting a light inside, you get a USB Socket on the top. We plug in a flexible USB Powered Light, so when the door is open, we shine the light down into the fridge. Then when we Close the lid, the light shines down on a cutting board we put on top, so we can see what we're doing.
Just got a 40 L Bougerv for food and my Yeti Tundra will now be a full on beverage/booze fridge. Think it will work out. Hopefully. Little less ice to buy. Fridge powered by 300 wh power station and 100 w solar.
The Bouge will break in better in ECO mode and will last years longer if you avoid MAX.

BougeRV I believe the internal light as well as a removable basket are insignificant at this great price point As good as a review this gentleman did I believe the only relevant negative is the handles...recessed handles that pop out for carrying and strapping down then recess flush with the unit should not add any significant cost

I’m with him on wanting the light and basket. I’m currently shopping with those features as a necessity.
I have the BougeRV 30quart fridge, and noticed there's nothing to tie it down. So I purchased some D-Rings that get Glued onto Inflatable Boats, Surfboards, etc, and glued them onto the front and back right on each corner. I'm sure you can think of many other valuable devices that don't have anything to attach ropes to. How's that for an idea?
