  • This season I’m going to be trying these seed trays, inserts by Bosmere to grow vegetables and flowers from seed. They look to be of good quality, not flimsy like some others that have seen reviews for.
    Good points:
    - Not flimsy
    - Pretty durable, I can lift a tray filled with watered compost
    - Pre-drilled drainage holes inside each cell
    - Each insert contains 24 cells
    - Excellent value for money
    Bad points:
    - None at this point

    what are the holes used for ?

      the holes are for the water to drain.
      "Drainage holes allow excess water to seep out of pots, ensuring that water does not pool at the base of a pot, helping to protect sensitive roots from rot, fungus and bacteria."
