I played Kush in this battle. The Roman player did an incredible job baiting me and flanking my armored shotel warriors. It took me too long to realize what he was doing in that breach point

Don't get me wrong.... I "Steal" to... But that question was just to much out there in fantasy land to be real.. :-) (When you don't buy it... Be prepared to only game in singleplayer) I see it as a way to try the game as a demo version until I decide if it is good enough, to spend hard earned cash on to get the opportunity to game online proper.. :-)

Odd Rome 2 Tip of the Day: Horse butts can be used to distract enemy troops, as well as provide cover for skirmishers. Take full advantage of their confusion and fire away, but be sure not to hit your own cavalry.

I just had my first multiplayer battle today :D Thinking I learned enough from your videos... I was wrong. lol I mean, I'm learning a lot from your vids and comments, but still I made huge mistakes that I learned from. Still it was a ton of fun and I really enjoyed a more complicated battle then letting the AI run at my pikes. Overall I love these videos of yours and the fact that they made me do multiplayer battles after years of playing Total War games. Keep it up! :D

Epirus' cav. Wow. They destroyed their enemies just outside of the settlement! Really contributed to the overall result!
Today we got another GLORIOUS siege battle
To sum up the fight I think the lone Roman army losing it's ranged attack early was huge as the defenders were able to get huge numbers of kills with their own archers. Also all attackers are equally at blame for not opening more gaps. They forced themselves into choke points where the towers kept firing on them and defender pikes/archers were able to capitalize.

as soon as i saw the lone roman player going up against kush i knew they were gonna lose... kushite royal archers... best archers in the game if you ask me... also pretty good in a melee, shotel warriors can hold surprisingly well against legionaires too

I never understood the concept of fighting on the walls. I get the hell off the walls as fast as possible because the arrow towers will just shred you. And if you don't have a ballista, Tortoises are the best to punch a hole in walls.
