I was wondering what your impression on that scene of Lumine running back to Khaenri'ah was, but I've always assumed it is just after Lumine deals with the Unknown God and escapes (with her powers intact as you observe).
I don't think you could say she was depowered and has to chase around seven nations to get repowered because why would Khaenri'ah's fires and the Unknown God's cubes still be there years and years latter?
Still I've recently seen someone suggest that Lumine in this scene is just heading back to Kahenri'ah from somewhere else before the twins set off to see the Unknown God.
To me it seems like Lumine is running because she knows Khaenri'ah is under attack and is rushing back to help. When she sees Khaenri'ah in flames and the red cubes she sits down as she understands she is too late to do anything.
So to me this only fits the facts of Lumine just after she escapes from the Unknown God which she manages to do almost immediately
3:03 that is somewhat true, but I believe that they’re gonna go into hibernation until they plan a full frontal assault, which will most likely happen sheznaya after alpha abyss awakens but if you don’t know, the context, I’m talking about is about after presumably death of lumine/abyss princes the Fatui took her corpse and use it as a power source of Fatui grand plan to use all the gnosis to open the portal to heavenly principles homeworld to use it for greedy and bad purposes except for the them. But did they know she’s actually alive and slowly transforming into the alpha abyss overtime without their knowledge while a few members of the Fatui and harbingers probably pulcinella and arlecchino knows that something is not right with the princess corpse because they’re onto something knowing that she’s actually alive and turning into the alpha abyss. By the time sheznaya act 6 ends this happens

It appears that Lumine has completely transformed into the alpha abyss a large snake like creature that is twice the size of beisht has completely awakened and escaped sheznaya and goes on a rampage at the same time headed towards khaneri’ah but also makes a full frontal assault on sheznaya where all the abyss monsters reawaken and new types of abyss monsters, including abyss grunts reapers devastors and and employee, a biz guardians that we see in natlan act 6 where abyss guardian where used as Lumine guards. Where bright beam is powering up and its located into the sky opening a large wormhole but to who exactly is none other than herrscher of the end from GGZ making its way too teyvat at some point in Dainslef quest in sheznaya find some video in this abandoned Fatui vault

I have my reasons why she could be the villain of the game and possibly the heavenly principles aren’t the villain in this timeline because Celestia might’ve been abandoned long ago after the first cataclysm and the reason why the abyss order wants to destroy Teyvat is because overthrow the seven nations and archons in order to restore khaneri’ah but at the same time destroying teyvat while the Fatui wants world domination to bring Teyvat to its knees and bring order but for sinister and greedy reasons and the reason why they’re collecting all the seven gnosis from all the seven nations is because they’re trying to open a wormhole to celestia or the heavenly principles his whole world and why they left celestia long ago make thier wishes heard to bring world order to teyvat at the same time this might attract abyss order because what they’re trying to do is cause another cataclysm event but this time this is an extinction level event and summon herrscher of the end from GGZ timeline to destroy all of teyvat in exchange for khaneri’ah restoration and don’t forget all of this could be seen in aether visions during his sleep that he sees a glimpse of the future I’m not just abyss princess become the alpha abyss a large snake creature that is twice the size of beisht but has an exosuit as its armor. But he also sees another glimpse of the future of him floating aimlessly in space and sees a massive warship making its way too teyvat is none other than herrscher of the end and powerless to stop what’s coming use the scene here as a reference and see what I mean.

Gold (Rhinedottir) didn't brought the Abyss into Khaenri'ah. The Khaenri'ahns were dealing with Abyssal problems ever since they founded their nation, as told in Perinheri. Skirk, too, isn't Gold's disciple.
Gold only pushed forward the art of Khemia by mixing in some Abyssal souls and powers into it (Khemia is an alchemy art that dedicated to creating biological life from inert materials). And just to clarify, she is no Descender either, as the 1st (the Primordial One, Phanes) and the 2nd (the Second Who Came) most probably got “rid off” of the 3rd Descender and used their remains to create the Gnoses, and the Traveler is the 4th. We know for a fact that Gold is still alive.
