I do like Landys but I came here looking for a super well sorted, go anywhere expedition vehicle. Wasn't disappointed. Amazing attention to detail, well researched and executed. Inspirational stuff

Thank you! Merci! I ate it up! (American for I loved it) I bought my first new 1973 L88 LR when I lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA. Presently, I am in the Great Salt Lake City valley, Utah. I had a 1999 Disco 2 for 15 years, a 2009 Range Rover HSE and now at my old age, I drive a 2016 Disco 4 HSE Lux and I do most of the maintenance. Stefi est adorable! (je le parle aussi)

Enjoy Mk2. Driving a highly modified '85 Land Rover 110 HiCap with a SLTi under the bonnet myself and own a wide selection of offroaders. Always hard loosing one of them.

Hi Grizzly and bear 130s are common in south Africa but 130 king cabs are really rare a land rover defender adds more fun to a adventure

HI HI Hi Merci à toi. ;) Alors ce drone ? J'ai beaucoup appris durant ce séjour au garage. Je sais faire une vidange, je connais les 11 points de graissage et je sais reconnaitre un V4 V8 ... Injecteur, pont, sangle anti débattement . ect font partis de mon vocabulaire courant. hahaha et en anglais aussi.

Un rêve de gosse de 10 ans en 1971 quand le Range est sorti, que je maintiens en forme et qui passe vaillamment ses contrôles techniques...

hi guys. just seen your video as I was drooling over defender videos..... horrible news about the black Beast you lost but the new green giant looks insane! I am currently in a similar situation again my defender 90 was crashed in to luckily I had my dash cam and insurance was a battle also saying write off but my persistence payed of and its getting repaired hopefully back this week I crashed in September :( but iv just ordered that duel dash cam that you showed haha my front facing cam is good but duel is better obviously. thank you for the amazing movie ! jack

Really happy to hear you managed to get a rebuild out of them. It's not a nice experience dealing with insurance companies that's for sure. Unfortunately they are an evil necessity...
We could of bought the wreck and had a smaller pay out then rebuilt but decided to cut our losses and start again. We needed to get back on the road asap.
The dash camera / reverse camera combo is great and still going strong 😉

I was a bit nervous talking in front of the camera like that but it made it easy talking about something I'm passionate about.
We would love to head north and climb. For sure both Sweden and Norway have great climbing!

We are still waiting to find out the future for my next work contract then we can decide where to go.

Leigh Dearle It doesn't look like you're nervous at all. The building process of the car is a big part of owning a Defender, at least for me. I guess that's why it's so interesting to see other builds.
I live in Östersund in the middle of Sweden but lived up north in the mountains of Sweden and Norway. You should definitely come up. Especially to Norway, perfect country for Defenders.
Keep doing great videos but don't let it control your life too much so it becomes a pressure. We want to continue seeing your videos! 😂😉
Kim Svensson sounds like a plan. We will most probably be heading towards Norway early July.
When I go back to work we are thinking that Steph will stay at my friends campsite that is also in central Sweden somewhere.

Oui ça devait être génial en Allemagne et sinon si vous êtes dans le coin au moi d'août y'a le salon du tout terrain à valoir le week-end du 21 août et si vous passer dans le beaujolais c'est avec plaisir que je ferai un bivouac avec vous pour un week-end bref j'arrête de vous embêté et bonne continuation à vous aussi
Ha oui , on a beaucoup entendu parlé de cet évènement à Valoir. C'est noté pour le Beaujolais! Un bon barbecue et du bon vin après une journée de 4x4. ;)
