Summer Snowboarding in Guangzhou, China

- Crossing into mainland China from Hong Kong, we travel to China's second largest indoor ski slope, Sunac Snow Resort. With the magic of human engineering, we are able to rock up with shorts and flip flops, put on some snow gear and head into an enormous warehouse fridge with some hills, and people.
It was much better than expected. This place will entertain a huge spectrum of people - babies, children, old folks, beginners, intermediate and pros. For the pros, there is a park section where you can practice tricks and this makes this place quite versatile.

Wow. Absolutely no one would've thought this to exist 20 years ago in Southern China of all places
lol yeah.. the magic of technology, infrastructure and monayyy
Hi 👋 great video. So doesi t really worth ? Tks
Depends on your definition of worth buddy :). I wouldn't fly there for it but if you're a few hours away by train, definitely worth a visit. We only did this for one day, we explored the city of Guangzhou for another day and night afterwards.
If you got a snow trip planned later in the year and still improving then that would be another use case! go practise so you can enjoy better when you're spending big bucks to go on a ski trip.
Thanks for the vid! Will try the place out.
Hope it's worth your while! Keep in mind you cannot leave once you get in - if you want different food options, best to pack food. Let us know how it is
i saw my friend in your video 😂
Lol which one?

This video is awesome, me and my friends are planning the same route. 1 question does Alipay HK work in China?
Hi and thanks! Yes Alipay HK works in China. You'll notice though, some scanning features in restaurants or bicycles won't work using Alipay HK though. You can download a global version of Alipay to ride the Alipay bicycles or use integrated Didi
Just wondering will it be a hassle if I bring my own snowboard from HK to travel to there?
Nope we rented everything. We saw many locals bring their own gear though - I don't think any issues there.
@@viarystash9124 Thanks man! Definitely will bring my own gear to there. Cheers!
oh right, if you're going from HK I suggest you check with High Speed rail regarding their luggage rules. I remember checking but just double check the dimensions are within limits!@@wowgingermobile2123
@@viarystash9124 Many thanks for the tips!
