Ngl, I'm glad that Ovenbreak is implementing more characters with more diverse skills and uses :D Even if it's a mix of Orange Skill, Lobster and Rockstar it takes the interesting parts of their gameplay without really taking over the role of the other cookies :D

So here we have a cookie that combines Lobster, Orange, Kumiho Cookie, (and possibly) Rockstar Cookie in one Cookie. This is going to be fun, and it will take a lot of skills to maximize this cookie's potential.

I love that Choco Bar Cookie, and now with Butter Squid Cookie, require manual control and precise timing to maximize score. It can be tricky at times but i think it's more fun when some of the cookies' skills are manual. Also i love the Butter sound effect here. I think Devsis did a really great job!

So, explanation on why this skills is different than Lobster's. English is not my main language so sorry for mispelling
Lobster Skill has a magnetic slide that, when fully charge, launches him (which causes to destroy, gives a small acceleration an atracts like the slide) up to 3 times before, after chargining again, does a combo attact that destroys things. After this, you'll hace to wait for the whole skill cooldown. If you have not use the entire skill, it resets (a exception of the final one i think). Even when the skill isn't ready, you can still attract things while sliding.
Butter Squid Skill seems similar at first, magnetic slide that, when fully charge, launches something, in this case words. He has up to 3 lauches, doesn't gain acceleration and still brakes things. The thing is, you get to recharge it one at the time and you don't have to wait the whole skill to recharge to use it. When its full, it wont recharge any other ones until you use the ones before
With Lobster you play with a more speedy skill, constantly having to use it so you don't lose its potential but gaining some speed and a extra destruction fase. With Butter Squid you play in a more methodical and flexible way, since you can use it when you see best, without that much rush and and more control over the character. With how much I've been seeing Lobster in meta, I think is an alternative for those how think Lobster way of playing is too speedy and uncontrolable :>

I have a theory that he’s going to be Butter Pretzel Cookie’s father or something. Their design is fairly similar, Butter Pretzel is in the loading screen like Choco Ball Cookie is, which we learn is because he’s Choco Bar Cookie’s brother, so I wonder if this is going to be a similar situation
I also think it would be interesting if he was somehow related to Squid Ink Cookie, not sure how that would hypothetically work, but I’m more confident on my Butter Squid Cookie is Butter Pretzel Cookie’s father theory
