The sword actually DOES look like one of Guts‘ swords. The Dragonslayer to be precise. But it’s the child‘s version of it. Should’ve been a colossal sword to be it. But I actually like the fact it’s „just“ a greatsword.

The armor is a mix of the berserker armor and the goblin slayer armor. The tree is true. The sword is indeed a dragon slayer reference, though it is not as big and it does have a hilt with wrist guards. But all you need to see is the blades coloring, the black inner part and the silver edges, as well as the scaling/AoW. A swing so strong you can send airwaves, plus it scales with neither faith, arcane, or int. Pure strength and a bit of dex.

I imagine it would be an armorset that when fully worn (wearing all 4 pieces), your attack and defense both increase, when you get hit, you will regenerate a bit of health after a few seconds (in berserk, it is cursed and repairs the wearers wounds and binds the broken bones together) And then you become immune to status effects But then, once you remove even one piece after having been dealt a ton of damage and having been hit with a lot of status effects, suddenly they both surge. Meaning if you were supposed to get blood loss and frostbite, once you remove a armor piece, you will suddenly be hit with both, plus the damage you were meant to receive that was reduced. Essentially, it would work like "get out what you put in". Or "paying what you owe"
All you'd have to do is just.. Not.. take off he armor though? If it gives you that much of an advantage nobody would take it off and it's all you'd see. @@es-rh8oo
The solitude greatsword looks a lot like Ludwig's holy blade from Bloodborne, that's the first thing I thought when I saw it. The armor tho is indeed the biggest Berserk reference in the game. Maybe they thought to add something like it after seeing so many of us cosplaying Guts in our playthroughs in the base game 😂

The way I try it is greaves and legs of solitude + night's cavalry armor and the black hood. You can never get the true guts face with the character slider no matter how many times you try but so long as the upper parts of the face resemble it then thats close enough to the full guts look
the npc even has exact same face, hair and a nose scar as Guts. And solitude is kinda fitting for Guts the only things that aren’t the same is the helmet and sword
