  • Has anyone ever planted a pumpkin and the female flowers bloomed first while the male flowers did not bloom yet?
Surely everyone has at least once planted a type of pumpkin where the female flowers have bloomed, but the male flowers seem to have not yet bloomed. Without male flowers, no matter how many female flowers there are, no fruit will be pollinated.
This time, I also want to share this problem with you. If any of you have had the same problem, please share with me how to fix it to make the male flowers bloom at the same time as the female flowers.
I think this is probably the case that many people have. As for me, I will wait a few more days to see if the male flowers bloom. Then I will share it in another video. And now, let's see how to harvest these pumpkin buds and make a real dish!

To prevent this, you can keep the male flowers from the this planting session in the refrigerator or even freezer to be used in the next planting session, especially when such thing happens again.
    Hope it helps!

Can you give me the source that says the pollen will stay good that long? I've read that cucurbit (squash) pollen can't last long even frozen. I want to know how so I can use it for myself, but I want the literature of how. Thanks.
