I am a grown ass man. I've been in combat and I have nothing to say about that. I have metal in many parts of my skeleton. P t s d, I don't care. Really guys and gals who also have it, I just don't care I'm dealing with it very well. And I watch a video like this and I'm borderline spiritually moved to tears. I hope that before my God calls me home I have the opportunity to meet this woman and her family and shake their hands and say thank you. It is so rare to hear the complete O Holy Night, as written. Thank you Jennifer Nettles.
It's NOT the complete song. She sings V1 completely, then V3 except for the last 3 lines. The she replaces them with the last 3 lines of V1. She completely omits V2. I've never seen anyone sing the entire song in You-Tube except a cappella version by a male group.
That said, Jennifer sings what she does sing very well, with her heart in it.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Nettles about 12 years ago in a club in Atlanta. She is truly a treasure and has the voice of a angle but she’s also so sweet and genuine and she stay at our table and talk for 5 minutes or so during a break. Proud that she’s from my home state of Georgia.

We lost my dad 11 years ago today, and this was favorite Christmas Song. A friend of mine sang this song as his casket was carried out of the church, it was powerful and emotional. I’ve had many people tell me that song has taken on a whole new meaning to them.
