Phil with 30 perfect darts in 701,he doesnt miss that big target.
i like all the double bulls he stuffed even with open bull. impressive stuff. There is a video of phil I saw when I was younger he went 180 180 180 to leave an out in 701 electronic he said he would go 180 against the throw because that 30 points different and on 4th turn on an out with 161 essentially getting the throw back.

I know but if 50 1 50 you point per dart will be 46.73 so some professionals will go for 50 51 for 50 points per dart

Phil might have a new career when he retires from steel tip
I respect Phil so much because, no matter the occasion - whether he's stepping up to the oche at the World Championships, or playing an exhibition game like this - you can see he is always at 100% concentration. He has tremendous passion and respect for the game and I think that is why he has such longevity in it...but yes, please please please, I would love to see Phil and a couple PDC retirees testing their mettle in the soft tip leagues after they've packed their bags - it would be such a tremendous honour!

How to turn a beautiful game like darts into a Japanese kids toy....sigh
If you say that, then you should continue with "how dare the Americans take the wonderful game of Snooker and transform it into the tragic sport known as pool". Dude, it may have sounds and bright lights, but it's still the same game, and in fact is more easily accessible to the beginner. I would say that the only reason why darts is such a huge thing in the Eastern part of the world (hence helping darts grow as a whole) is because a lot of young kids and teens pick up soft-tip darts: it is more appealing to the culture, and is endless fun.
When they get to know the sport better, they WILL end up playing the real game and go from there. Hence, you introduce people to the game through similar means and then everyone benefits from it. Isn't that a good thing?

It's a game people play to enjoy themselves, just like steel tip. Why do people feel compelled to shit on soft tip in every video? why click it in the first place? you know what it is.
Taylor dominant even at nerf darts like this...steel tippers will hammer soft tip players every time.
