I'm a big fan of playing soft tip darts.
Never knew soft tip darts was a thing. Just wondering, why did Phil continue throwing at the bullseye when Adrian was hitting the treble 20's? I thought it was a different rule, because in all the other soft tip games I've seen they stick with the bull until they check out or set up a check out
Ben Xuan I get why Adrian went for treble 60, I don't understand why Phil didn't do the same, is it because both the bull and the 25 count for 50 and are easier to hit everytime?
I appreciate your answers, but you have not answered my question. I understand that player 1 usually gets first shot at checkout, thus player 2 tries to hit T20's to catch up and possibly go ahead, now if player 1 sees player 2 is going ahead by hitting T20's, why does he not also try for T20's to match the quicker rate of scoring of player 2? If Lewis Hamilton starts a race in pole position he has an advantage, if he drives 100kph and notices Sebastian Vettel is catching up by driving 120kph, would Hamilton not accellerate to stay ahead?

One thing I don't get is when a dart comes out of the board and is still regarded as a scoring dart.
Soft tip darts is different, as long as the tip hit the board and it will sense the score
Why go for bull when you can 180 the triple 20?
Bull in soft tip is worth 50, it's also at least twice the size of the triple20, so for the 30 points extra per turn, its not remotely worth the risk. Watch their cricket games, even Phil who is hitting 9.9/10 hattricks, doesn't hit ton80s even 50% of the time he goes for them.

The 4th Leg 701, Adrian Gray wants to throw "12 perfect dart finish(T20*10, T17*1, Bull*1)". Unfortunatley, when he throw 8 darts of the T20, failed. That's why he has the points per round is 151.00. Buy the way, Japanese darts player Morihiro Hashimoto(橋本守容), has been success the 701 "12 perfect dart finish(OI/MO)", but the bullseye rules is split bull(25/50).

You do not see Adrian on the dart circuit anymore as well as other top players of 6-8 years ago! Most likely it is money. So he beat Phil? Phil was paid to be there Adrian probably won maybe $1500 if that.
