- We are onboard Carnival’s newest ship… Jubilee!! This ship will permanently home port from Galveston, Texas and has been marked in the bow with the Lone Star.
Come along with us as we show you around the ship and give you our first impressions. She is quite the big ship with lots to see and do!!
Our second day onboard is New Year’s Eve and we will share what it’s like to ring in a new year Carnival style!!

I was on the same sailing as Jason and Alisa. The ship did not feel crowded at all. We did not go to the Sail Away because we didn’t want to be in a very crowded area. I agree with Jason. The room was very hot at night. The bed was very uncomfortable. Our steward added an extra duvet to soften it up. Other than that, the rooms are very nice and the ship was wonderful. We had a great time! Our cruise director was amazing and the employees were the best.
Jason snapping his chin with the elastic on his New Years Eve hat was priceless. Reminds me of doing it with Haloween masks as a kid. Those porthole looking screens looked so neat and should thrill the children.
I really like this couple, they do a little bit of everything!

Love it! We were on the Carnival Valor out if New Orleans for New Years. It was our first New Years cruise but it won’t be our last!! It was an absolute blast 🚢🪩🎆

We sailed Valor out of N.O. in September and not for one second on the whole cruise did we feel the ship moving...the sea was calm as glass then entire way!
Keeping curtains closed will help with temperature
We were on the same sailing. ( and actually made the video at 4:05) The ship is huge but after the initial embarkation day, it didn't feel crowded. I agree with Jason the cabin does seem smaller than the other carnival balcony cabins we have been in. I also didn't care for the night light in the bathroom, and I didn't think to pull the card at the door to see if that light would also go out until we got back home.🤣🤣
I didn’t like the bathroom light situation either and you’re right about the balcony room, vet narrow.

Great video guys! Cant wait to see the full review. We havent sailed on an XL class ship yet, were seeing alot of comments about how the XL ships are too crowded. Our daughter has special needs and gets overwhelmed with big crowds so we are a little weary.
There are times, like sail away, when it’s crowded but other than that everyone spreads out. We really didn’t feel crowded.
Man it was great to run in to you guys on the Lido guys! Lots of great info in this video. Sums up the ship offerings pretty well. Being a BBQ guy, I'm not a fan of the Pig & Anchor BBQ at all. Not a BBQ snob at all but I've had way too much BBQ to classify this as "BBQ." lol I think the best food on the ship was the Chef's table and Bonsai sushi! We LOVED the sushi! We were also told that there was close to 3000 casino offer guests on board which had them totally killing the casino for the rest of us. Street eats we absolutely LOVED!!! This was the calmest I'd ever seen the gulf be on ANY of our cruises. Day 6 was a little rougher but still not horrible at all... Wish we could've spent more time hanging out with you guys but we did spend a lot of time in the Thermal Suites. Absolutely a chilled cruise for us. We love Bonsai sushi as well, and we also heard a lot of complaints about how full the casino was! Fortunately we don’t gamble…lol! It was great meeting you too my friend! Don’t be a stranger 👍

I just got off of the Jubilee on Saturday. It's a beautiful ship, but there were sooo many people. I know that's great for Carnivals finances but it can be a challenge for some cruisers.

Was on the Celebration a few months back and had the same annoying issue with bathroom light at night. My room MUST be dark for me to sleep. I figured out a way to slowly move and hold the switch to where it would stay in the middle position so the light would be completely off.
I took one of the towels and laid it standing on its side across the bottom of the door which blocked most of the light. It was so annoying!
I have a fix for uncomfortable sheets or not good soft take some dryer sheets, your favorite ones damp in it pull your sheets back or and wipe it down or just take you a little spray bottle with some Downey, or whatever you use and pull your sheets back, spritz it really goodfirst thing in the morning do the bottom and do the top and then lay the top sheet back over and spritz the top of the sheet and do that for like a couple of nights and it will smell good but it will soften up your sheets

I’m not mistaking I remember when you open the balcony door it off the air-conditioning. At the bottom of the thermostat there is a snowflake looking button. If you tap it, the blue light will come on and it’s called Arctic cool down and it will cool your room off faster.
Yes we pushed the snowflake… still hot in the cabin 🥲
Dang I hate that. We always hit the premium interior cabin. It’s the exact same size of cabin that you guys are in but no balcony. We do that because of the heat we freeze on the interior.

I think you can take off the nightlight coming from the bathroom by removing your stateroom card from the slot.
Yes the cabin steward confirmed this. But I am always afraid we will need a light for some reason and then not be able to turn any on.

We booked a guaranteed balcony and this was an 8A that we were assigned. They are all the same (A-G) it’s just the location that is different.
was it impossible to get a lounge chair on sea days? were the staff good at monitoring people who were trying to mass reserve chair ?
Actually there are so many chairs between decks 16-18 there were always plenty of empty loungers!!

We were on the first sailing and really didn't enjoy it. Kyndall Fyre was the only thing that was genuinely awesome about this ship. We will try again because it was clear that some of the issues were related to everything and everyone being new to this ship.
We loved doing the inaugural sailings, but have had the same at times.
