- The amazing SpaceX Falcon Heavy Demo Flight flew in early February 2018 and what an amazing day. This demo flight simulation includes all three booster landings (even the core booster that crashed) and the wonderful little Tesla Roadster driven by the iconic Jebadiah Kerman (Starman). This will tell you all you need to know about the flights and a few fun facts about the Falcon Heavy. This full scale simulation was captured using Kerbal Space Program (KSP 1.2.2) with the full Real Solar System / Realism Overhaul mods installed.
Great work SpaceX, inspiring as always!

Hi everyone, how are you all this fine day? Thanks for being so patient with me while I've been preparing this video. It's been a month since the last upload which is much longer than my usual schedule. It's been such a massive effort programming all this. Next question though. Where should we go with SpaceX next? :) What do you all think?
New challenge: Eeloo and back!
If you're using realism mod you should take the max falcon heavy payload to Pluto!
Elon shot his mouth off at the post launch press conference and said the new BFS (upper stage) will be capable of ssto with a full fuel load and minimum payload. I think I'd like to see that.
Good Job Man !! Like always!! Thank you for your hard work !!!
Is your kOS scrips up for grabs?
i usually dont comment anywhere but dude im so glad i found your channel, keep it up buddy

LOL, thanks mate.

I'm actually speechless, that was awesome!!! And also we have finally seen the core landed!!!
I had a lot of fun making it. Thanks for watching!
it said IM SPEED BOI WAIT NO AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *EXPLOSION*
Amazing job Marcus, seems like nothing is too hard for you! Keep it up!
Thanks mate.
Marcus House Hi Marcus, I was wondering were you got the Tesla roadster model from?
Yeah, excatly! How do you perform that amazing landings!!??? Couldn´t go any close even with 10.000 hours of gameplay.
This NEEDS to go viral.
Fingers crossed then! 😀
Aww man this was great, got the goosebumps all over again. Every time that song kicks in and the people cheer I'm on the verge of tears. Thanks for making this man!
Thanks for watching mate. 😀
Bowie's is better. I'm only saying that because I'm a dieheart Bowie fan
Fantastic work as usual, buddy! Great to see you pulling off these tough realism missions in KSP!
Meanwhile, I need to get back to building pointless megaton spacecruisers :D
Thanks mate. This took so long to get sorted. 😊
2/10 lack of unplanned rapid disassembly
Ohh you wait.. I've got about an hour of bloopers to compile together. There were plenty of RUD's :)
Stay tuned!
@@MarcusHouse hey marcus, what video has the failures? Was it how not to land a orbital rocket booster? Because that's not a hour long. Also, what mod do you use that let's you launch from Kennedy space center
@@Sebastian-hq4pc He said an hour of clips to compile, not that the vid would be an hour. Also he uses Real Solar System to have Earth and it automatically puts you at KSC

The best Falcon Heavy simulation i've seen on CZcams. Very nice
Thanks Alisson, this was loads of work.
Awesome work! And "Tesla" with Kerbal inside is masterpiece!:)
Even this, still brings a tear to my eyes. Such an amazing thing to watch (I took the day off work to watch Falcon Heavy) and amazing job recreating it. I very much want to get KOS working and learn how to program it but right now I just can't mentally do it. But great job, this is amazing.
Thanks mate. It was an amazing launch and I spent forever trying to make this happen. So glad I got it all together OK.
I was late to school on the day that Falcon Heavy launched. I got detention but i don't care IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!
Stand up for what you believe in. Detention.... Worth it :)
I was in health class and I read the Twitter feed as it happend. It was awesome. I watched the video right after when school ended.
For me it luckily happened in the evening cause of timezones :D
Can't believe you even put in the audio from Das's stream!!
I remember dying of laughter when that happened.
Oh I love that clip so much! It was great. Wish I could have been there with them. On the wrong side of the world I'm afraid. For BFR I'm going to come over and stay for a few weeks. 🚀
I really want to go to Florida for one of these lauches, but when I look at the cost of the flights and the rest of it, it's so risky. Just this weekend they scrubbed the mission, my luck that would happen when I go over.
That was awesome! I actually had all the insane, overwhelming feelings I had watching the original launch come rushing back to me. Good job!
I was hoping it would have some of that kind of impact. Thanks for watching!
I’m so glad I got to see this at the cape in real life. I saw the launch, booster sep, and landings it was awesome.
Wish I could have been there with you.
I saw the launch from my backyard xD
I am impressed, love you channel man. This is by far far the most realistic rocket profile launch I have seen on CZcams. Congrats
Thanks for watching Mark, I put loads of effort into it so I'm glad you are all enjoying it.
Glad to see you posting again :)
dude this gave me chills :D
Great video

Only two comments?!?! This was 2 years ago !
This is an amazing work, very acurate and well explained!totally worth it☺️
Awesome work, Marcus!
Thanks mate.
This made me emotional for some reason, it's so awesome, you captured the moment perfectly and your cinematography was amazing. You did a great job man.
This is the best falcon heavy simulation in KSP I've ever seen.
As always falcon heavy at the best quality
Ok this was awesome in KSP RSS as well so this was well done!
No wonder why it took so long
Did it ever. 😀
Could be more realistic if the center core crash was included
that was amazing! not only the historic falcon heavy test flight, the KSP seems able to simulate anything!
i'm not subbed
why am i not subbed?
why have i never subbed?
i should sub
i was shaking too my thoughts were
"holy flying f*** that thing took off"
It was an amazing!
I still get goosebumps when i hear the audio, coolest thing i've ever seen.
the amount of time put into this! great job!!!
Thanks mate! :)

the audio of people screaming, cheering out of excitement and awe when the 2 boosters was landing .. always makes me happy
I love how youtube recommends me awesome stuff. This is nothing short of amazing dude. Well done, well worth the effort and so very much enjoyable to watch. Thank you!
I'm glad also. It is tough to break through the massive channels.
Great job man. Awesome video. I know you had to have spent a ton of time on it. It actually seems like your last several months of videos of have been building up to this point. Again, great job. You are awesome man.
You are not far wrong actually. My original few kOS videos were trying to learn how to do a Falcon 9 landing in stock. The heavy was an extension of that as I wanted to get that sorted prior to the real launch if possible. Sadly this video came a bit late. I was trying to have it done 2 weeks ago but the RO / RSS challenges made it much harder.
Man, this is utterly impressive! The work put into programming this must have been immense. Fantastic job!
Yes it took quite a lot of time. Thanks mate.
Very realistic Simulation Video, the only thing is that you land the core ^^
You should see the blooper footage though. That will need it's own video.
great job, as always.
Such an amazing video! You deserve so many more subs!
Thanks buddy!
it feels like the first time i watched a spaceX launch, THANK YOU Marcus House!!!
I have been looking for a nice ksp tuber. I found him. You sound awesome, contagious with your enthusiasm about space in the best way and making me exited about space exploration too. Btw. nice video. Nah, super nice video, one of the best i've seen.
What a work man... o.O
Dude I'm teared up, thank you
Excellent work, man. Very nicely done. :)
Cheers mate.
I love your videos u deserve more credit and views so happy I found your channel
Thanks mate! Glad you love the content.
Wowzers, that was one heck of a video! You knocked that out of the park. It is a shame that I can only like this video once. Loved it, keep up the great work :) Hope you have a great day & be safe.
Thanks mate. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I really hope Squad will try to make Falcon Heavy-like craft possible without a tone of mods in KSP.
Maybe they should ask SpaceX for a grant? ;)
That would be awesome!
I wonder if the next DLC will be the SpaceX DLC?
@@technicallydifficulties7094 YES WE NEED THAT
Man your so good at this
Beautiful
really cool, cant imagine how long it took to do this, and I raced home from school to make sure I didn't miss the live launch!
It was a process for sure. I couldn't believe how great it was to watch it.
Falcon Heavy was the first launch I saw live. At the time of the mission I was not very into space, and I drew a really derpy picture. The only parts I got right on the picture were the center core and transporter erector, otherwise, I slapped some SRBs on the sides and placed an ATC tower right next to the pad... :|
@@yacinesenouci6680 yes i get that... the first launch i watched live was CRS 16 and it was pretty funny. it started spinning, and then landed on WATER. at the time I also wasn't into space, so i just kept watching these landings fail (remember, this was before SpaceX made its 2nd landing). when Falcon Heavy launched, i was impressed, because we've only seen 5 landings so far. when we saw TWO boosters land AT THE SAME TIME it was like - wtf how... and then we drove back home and on the way we passed LZ1 and LZ2 and it was just - impressive. its one thing to land a single booster on a ship, its another thing to land two boosters back on land on landing pads right next to each other at the same time. can't wait when they add cameras on the boosters that look at each other! then we could see the way the booster acts in detail on its way down!
Such a great video, I sure can tell you spent a lot of time and effort to make it so close to real world. Keep it up!
Thanks Judd. Appreciate that mate.
Awesome video wow. Great work with flght and mods.
Took a long time to get the mods to behave.
Dude this is absolutely amazing. Awesome job so glad I found the channel. Btw I finally landed on the mun!! Hahaha
Man! I can't belive what I just saw, you are a master!
Cheers mate!
Excellent work, impresive views and sounds ... really nice!!!
Thanks mate!
It looks like you even improved the landing scripts. Also, that was almost as incredible as the real thing haha
You may not say that when you see the massive blooper collection I need to put together.
YES! WE LANDED THE MIDDLE CORE!!!
This was awesome!
Love it keep up the good work my Man!
Thanks for the support Blair. 😀
The fact that you were able to replicate this flight in KSP, to me, is more amazing that the actual launch.
Best Simulation I have ever seen. wow!
Awesome video! Great work!
Thanks mate.
KSP simulation is awesome!
I am so excited
Don't you dare giving that masterpiece of a video one single dislike!

Y'er a bloody genius mate! Even Space X couldn't successfully land the core booster.
Thanks mate.
Very impressive work!
Thanks buddy. Glad you liked it. Took me forever.
I really like this video. That was good.
Great job!!!
Finally! An upload!
Yea sorry about that. Been working on higher quality content. This sort of thing takes so long to get working correctly.
Holy molly! well done!
I just love the sonic booms when the boosters land :D
WOW!!!
WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START A DAY!!
Best. Road. Trip. EVER. Good job, as well.
1 like = 1 snack for me to live
this is sick
Even watching this gets me goosebumps and tears in the eyes... just like the real one!
Best Kerbal Video I've Ever Seen!
Thanks mate. Blooper footage on this coming within the next 24 hours. :)
Awesome! By the way, does your channel have any tutorials on how to install realism overhaul? I'm having issues. Keep up the amazing content! :)
I don't no. I recommend Scotts here
czcams.com/video/0a6PLkDUWF4/video.html
CKAN is great. Use that. Make a full copy of your game as well. There is no DRM currently.
Great! Thanks :)
This video is awesome :D
Amazing
So good, so so good
Very nice work mate! Must have taken a lot of patience to simulate that in kerbal!
Because this is suppose to be a simulation I would like to point out that the center core used aluminium grid fins and not the titanium ones. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the rocket comes from the SpaceX mod but I think those landing legs are from Kerbalized SpaceX missing the litle (clamping?) triangles on their sides.
The rocket is from kerbalized spaceX and the landing legs are from kerbal reusability system
That's not even close to reality the main booster didn't crash. (But seriously WOW this is awsome! 10/10 well done!)
very well done. im new to KSP, and was influenced by the Falken heavy launch, to get the game. Lots to learn.
maybe one day i might accomplish something like you have here. nice job.
Thanks mate.
well done
brilliant
I like how u put the audio in the vid so it acts like real life
The original Life on Mars is way better, but awesome video.
That was already the best moment in 2018
Yup, can't use it due to copyright, otherwise I would have snipped it from the real launch audio.
Wow that made me smile like an idiot. Well done, sir!
Wow you're a pro!
I'm all out of superlatives! Excellent work, Marcus, you've done it again!
And I want the Lego set of that! - are you watching this, Lego? I want that with the car in it and the stands that flip down and everything!
I'd buy it :)
Very impressive.
yours is one of the best channel
Thanks :)
YEET!!!, i'd like to see your nice building, but its SO COOL! :)
Love your videos mate.. I don't get on Kerbal as much these days but always enjoy watching your projects! I'd love for something big to happen to ksp to bring me back to it but not sure what.
DLC is coming. 😀
Boosters landing, SpaceX has such brains..
Wich mod did you used for the Falcon Heavy?
Awesome video by the way :)
