- Last week Em and I ventured off to Exeter with Addie and Banksy to have a saddle fitting session with Albion. Em has worked with them for a few years and is possibly upgrading one of her saddles, so I took the opportunity to tag along and try a few different styles on Sir Banksy.

Awww Tina Iâm so glad you finally decided to post this vlog despite the negative comments you were getting on other platforms. I love the look of the light saddle on banksy and the navy glitter would look absolutely gorgeous!!! Banksy is such a funny horse with how he tells you if thereâs something he doesnât like and I hope both the boys are doing okay with the second heatwave coming soonâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž

So happy for you! You and Banksy deserve to have something that fits both of you perfectly. It is no ones business to tell you what to do with your horse, especially when it comes to something that you are doing to help them and yourself reach your full potential. Thanks Tina well done on trying a new saddle in the first place. We know how much, you are a creature of habit and how sensitive Banksy is. You looked really good in the first two saddles and looked like they gave you a little more confidence in your riding. Aaawww thank you yes I was pleasantly surprised at how competent I felt in something new and he defo felt free in the shoulder in both of the first 2. Like I said he always lets me know if heâs not comfy hence was a little cautious about cantering to start with xx

Life tip for keeping normal plastic water bottles cold (Works great on frozen ones) Wet a paper towel. Wrap it around and cover with aluminum foil. Obviously a good water bottle is more eco friendly but depending on your situation it may be a needed tip at times.

It IS so stressful trying new saddles, especially when you've had bad experiences in the past with saddles/dodgy fitters plus even more so when your horse is incredibly sensitive to saddle changes- thanks for sharing Tina!

I also have a pony whom like Banks is very quick to let you know when she is displeased with her saddle (or saddle pad since she has a high wither), so I can totally relate to how nerve wracking trying different types of saddles on can be & offer big kudos to you for not just stepping out of your comfort zone but sharing your doing so- you are so much braver than I am!

Given all the hard work you have put into improving your riding over the last year I can't think of a better reward/treat for yourself & Banksy than a new saddle, custom fit to you both, especially as it can help aid you both in continuing to improve over the coming years đ€©

Omg just noticed Banksy has love heart shape on his front right leg. Just like to say you both are amazing I love watching you both I've just had a baby so you and Banksy and Emily have kept me going coz I've have missed riding my horse due being pregnant. You are an amazing woman tina.
So glad you made this video. I ride dressage, and just had my first jumping lesson. The jump saddle I used did not fit me or my horse well at all. My new trainer suggested Albion.đ

I loved your saddle Vlog. You are right, Banksy does deserve a saddle of his own. He has been with you for a long while and done extremely well with the saddle that you got for Buddy, but now is the time for a special treat for him.
He is at the pinnacle of his showing career with you. He does so well in all of his events and he looks and acts at his fittest of his life. That is very obvious to me because Cameron loves to ride him so much and I donât think that he rides
many other clients horses as he loves to ride yours. I canât wait to see the new saddle, is it a Jumping one, or is it a Dressage one, or, is it one of each. Oh My!!! Jane đđđđŽđ§đ»âđŠ°

I had a saddle fitter out to check my saddle! Was amazing! My mare finally filled out and has evened out fully on both sides! Only four/five years later đ€Ł great vlog so far! Canât wait to see the saddles you try! I was sad to leave my Voltaire behind but I couldnât get anyone out to change and check mine đ© wouldnât be without my Fairfax Classic Jump now though! Never thought Iâd love having a double flapped saddle again haha! Love it! â€ïž xx

If you get to make notes to Air Up, I would say they need to work on getting less packaging. The pods have so much packaging and it would be nice if there was someway to make it less. Just considering they are doing reusable bottles, so if the pods could lose one layer of packaging that would be so awesome! Just a thought đ€Łđ€Ł
But anyhow, how exiting with the saddles, you and banks deserve a new saddle!

Saddle shopping is so exciting! Its a shame you feel you have to justify your decisions, at the end of the day Banksy is your horse so you can do what you like and it really doesn't affect anyone else!? I find it actually quite strange how invested people get in others lives, I wish I had the spare time they clearly do! Those saddles look lovely đ
