Basically I have a story. So I have a farm and I have a city house. I live in my city House most of the time (unfortunately) but my mum says when we move to the farm when I’m in year 10 I can get a horse and I’m so excited but as you may have heard on the news there are a really intense fires in New South Wales (Australia) And one of them is only 20 kilometres away from my farm and on Tuesday the wind is going to be heading towards my farm and so will fire i’m legit crying right now you have no idea how much that house means to me. I was born there and live there up in till I was five. (Not to mention my Great grandfather built that house) then I have to move in with my grandparents in the city because my grandfather had dementia. And when I was seven my grandma sadly passed away from a heart attack which I had to see. And I only get to go to my farm house four times a year. And I am really not doing well at school everyone is so mean and always want to start drama. And I can’t talk to anybody about this because my mum is always at work and my dad it’s always having to look after my grandfather because he can’t even go to the toilet by himself and none of his sisters or brothers will help. And the only time I can get away from all the sadness is when I’m at my farm which May not even exist very soon. I feel so free when I’m there but nothing can hurt me I go for hour walks around my paddocks in the forest by myself and it’s amazing the serenity the feeling of knowing there’s no drama there’s no problems makes me bubble inside. And also that pushes me further and further away from getting my horse I’m talking like when I’m like 18. I just really hope everything works out in the end. Love you guys❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I prayed for you, i hope thats ok. I live in QLD on a grain farm, so no horses, cattle etc, but i would love a horse. I hope the fires settle down and the drought breaks soon. Hope your Grandfather's condition doesnt get amy worse 💔

That's a lot to worry about. Sometimes I feel like it gets easier when your adult because you have more control but there are aspects that are harder about adulting too. There will always be stress my friend. The good news is you get to choose how to accept it. God has a plan and this is part of it. This stress and worry right now is a huge part in making you who your meant to be. Be bigger then those drama making kids. Vow to be amazing and leave all that stress behind. I will pray for your house. So so sad!
Remember to never buy a saddle without help from a good saddler. It’s incredibly important that they tell you what width, length, angle of the tree, seat size, model, etc. Most saddles can’t be fitted to the horse unless all of these are correct.
I really reccomend 2nd hand saddles. You can get ones that are basically brand new. They are ALOT cheaper and comfier and if you buy a brand new saddle the minute you sit on it it decreases in value by almost half. xx

Very true, particularly if you’re looking at the expensive brands such as Devoucoux, which do tend too hold their value 😊

I truly wish we had a fair like this in Cali!! Tack shopping is really tough here because there aren't many tack shops at all! We do have a Horse Expo every year but it's not anywhere near as large as yours! Wow! A shopper's dream there for sure!!🥰🥰
Exactly!!!! That's why we go! We never get that much choice. It's a one stop chance to see products in real life and I love it!

I think the first saddles you liked were Kentaur :) I have 2 devoucouxs (dressage & jumping) and they are the best saddles ever! Neither of mine are custom but they basically fit whatever horse they go on, they’re just the best!!!

Oh dear Laura, looks like you forgot to put your seatbelt on in the car whilst you were on camera, hopefully it wasn’t for long, always belt up 😊👍 I’m sure Sophia was after a Devoucoux saddle, as Gabby has one lol, although you really don’t have to spend that much to get a decent saddle, it’s about the right saddle for the horse and rider (not saying they’re not nice by the way) and I know it seems you don’t have any saddle fitters in your area where you could try a variety of saddles, which makes it harder. So as you were saying, you need a brand who can come and fit the saddle, good luck 😊 The tall boots will sink down a little and if you choose carefully you don’t necessarily need summer and winter ones ie a lot of people don’t ride in their leather boots in winter ( unless at shows), but get something a little more practical for winter and warmer, but the ones Gabby tried did seem a little too tall😊 The air vests have a clip that attaches to the saddle Laura, which means if you fall off they are activated, you don’t have to pull a cord yourself ( but you obviously have to remember to unclip them when you dismount, otherwise they go off 😂). Looks like you all had another fun day and meeting more of your subscribers too 👍
The saddle shopping is horrible. We went to so many booths and they were all packed and I wasn't able to talk to most of them. Because we need someone to come and fit him it decreases my choices. It's harder then you think lol. I always wear my seat belt. I was fixing something for the first few seconds which I rare for me.
DayByDay Vlogs Yes, although you have all the stands at shows they are often too busy and yes, does limit your choices as you need someone who can come and fit Finn 😊
You ought to look at Ideal saddles if you have them there. They are super comfy and affordable. They look nice as well.

Hi. I have prestige saddle (michel robert) , can recomend them :) Thay are adjustable, mine has been made wider already two times, because the horse put muscles on his back. The leather is very nice and do not think they are not comfy, just by feeling with hand. They are not the most cushioned, but they are very nice to sit in. So if you can take one on trial before you decide which to buy :)
In Europe Prestige is one if the most used top brands , also cwd, antaress, equipe and erreplus

Exclusively Equine had KenTuar saddles and they’re sooooooo nice!!! The lady who owns it is from my barn and her tack shop is there too. She had me break in a saddle for her so when people buy it it’s already comfortable and I fell in love with it. I was so sad when she took it back😂
If you’d want a comfy English saddle I recommend changing disciplines to western riding 😂 I’ve been English my whole life and haven’t had a English saddle that comfy

8:19 don't worry lol you don't need to pull it, you clip it on to your saddle and when you fall it pulls the cap off the canister of air and it blows the jacket up

I would try the brand Pessoa! I use one and they’re great for ponies and horses. They’re high end and very comfy but they also have a really classic design. You guys should check out Pessoa saddles!

I live in Michigan, so there would be a 5 hour drive and my mom might have had to miss work (which is hard), so unfortunately I couldn’t come. I absolutely love my Ariat bromont boots! I have heel risers in them so they don’t catch the back of my knees. After a few wears they drop a bit but they are so comfy ☺️

ok all new saddles are going to be hard until they are broken in. they are like new boots. the leather needs to be broken in and oiled.
If you guys find a saddle fitter you can tell them the price to stay under what saddle you want then they come to you with saddles and try them out that's what I did and me and my horse first saddle we tried fit so perfectly for her and me half the saddle my barn gave me to try didn't fit so it was amazing that something fit her and me

You can get blow up vests that you tie to the saddle, and then when you fall and the vest gets untied, it triggers the mechanism and makes the vest blow up.
I’m just like gabby and Sophie on being picky but not about a lot of things, when it comes to saddle shopping I went by my instructor on the saddle and ended up getting a really nice saddle that was new and fits my mare perfectly. I ride in a HDR close contact the color is beautiful it still looks new and I’ve had it for almost two years now. Its super comfy to and it matches my bridle and martingale really well. I choose my saddles off of my horses fitting and if they fit me. I’m only picky on color matching😂 my shipping blanket/ cooler is maroon. Her halters have a red fleece, I also have a matchy maroon set, even my show lambs all have maroon blankets. I do have a video about my saddle in my CZcams channel😊 best of luck shopping😁
