That stuff is great. I changed the interior of my Pontiac Phoenix from blue to black with this paint and you would think the black was factory. Prep is the key with this paint
I used SEM paint from an auto paint supply shop. They mixed the color perfectly for what I needed. The harbor freight $9 hvlp gun applied it perfectly. I've painted fabric and vynal with it and both turned out factory like, in color and sheen.
Still loving the work you put into that truck man! Since you’ve done all this work yourself, I have a quick question if you don’t mind. I have a 2001 Silverado 1500HD 6.0L 4WD. My rear main seal is leaking. Do I have to drop the tranny to replace? Or do you think there’s an easier way? Thanks and keep up the great work and DIY jobs!
@@garrettp2651 its not hard to pull the motor man..build a gantry crane out of wood(4×4 posts and 2×8's) and get a $99 winch from tractor supply..unbolt tranny and wiring and snatch her ass out.. you can have it out and back in in about a day, weekend tops. Its fun..just soak manifold bolts in pb blaster everyday for a week to avoid breaking them off.
@@EndlessWishlist paint looks nice as hell man..need to do this on my truck because my black is fading..you probably got those bubbles or whatever in the paint because oils soak into the trim over years even if you prep they could still be lingering under the surface..use heat to bring it to surface..sort of how you prep a firearm for cerakote..idk just a guess..been a sub for many years over many diffrent accounts and i gotta be honest..not a fan of that grill..HD front end swap is in your future. Did you lose any low end tourqe going with 1 7/8 headers?
@@rememberussliberty1822 I just did this to both of my trucks. One just to replace all the seals and gaskets, the other to replace cam bearings due to low oil pressure and replace all the seals and gaskets. Also made it easier to replace the broken exhaust manifold to head bolts.
Check out Big truck Big Rv! The $10,000 Truck is mine. I really love your channel man great info and I’m looking for a jump seat just like yours to put in my 2005 Chevy!🙌🏼👌🏽

I used Colorbond on my gauge pod, it was a great color match and went on easily. Just another option.
Is the jump seat for sale?
Not currently
They have a spot on the HVAC box that is blocked off. You can put the air ducting right in

Keep the flip up seat armrests it's way nicer.
Yeah the gap is not that big on my 02 Sierra
I’ll buy that jump seat if you want to sell it.
