The note book...I just watched it last night...can somebody explain to me how she lost her memory I was confused asf😭🤦🏽♀️ like how did they get to that point
She has Alzheimer's so she wrote in her notebook all the stories she didn't want to forget and had Noah read them to her when she forgot
She had got Alzheimer’s , a disease commonly know as old age disease. It’s slowly destroys your memory loss, making it difficult for a person to function independently. Before her disease progress she wrote their love story. That’s why in the book she wrote “read this to me and I’ll come back you”.
Its a disease, you cant control it, happens to many when they become old

I think I have a meet cute but I'm not sure if it counts (still not sure what the term means exactly).
So I have a buddy who mentioned that there was this cool park exhibition with minigolf setups based on world landmarks. He invites me to go with him and a mutual friend, and also that she would bring a friend I haven't met. So the day comes and after he drops me off at the entrance and drives off to the parking lot, he gets an emergency call that his mother was feeling sick and being sent to the hospital, so he rushed over.
While waiting on the other 2, as it so happens the same thing happened to our mutual friend- her father was hospitalized and she rushed off after dropping off the girl I hadn't met. At this point the numbers for the girl and I hadn't been shared yet, lesson learned, and although I felt bad about my friends' situation I figured I was already there so I may as well check out the exhibition.
As I go through the entrance and ticketing and equipment pickup, I noticed a girl that was basically next to me in line, but even after we went our separate ways in the park we kept bumping into each other at some of the minigolf holes. At some point we both had the same idea and said hi to each other. We were clicking very well and eventually realized that we were the friends of our mutuals and were supposed to meet that day anyway.
We enjoyed each other so much we started seeing each other and eventually dated exclusively. Crazy thing is, my 2 friends ended up at the same hospital for their parents. Both patients were ok thankfully, but in their emotional relief those 2 friends also connected on a deeper level and started dating too. Crazy world!

Andrea Juneau I think you’d only come across this term if you are a fan of romantic comedies or romantic movies in general, but it is widely used and has been since the 40s.

The Notebook gets so hyped up about being the most romantic movie but it's pretty problematic. The very first encounter of the main characters is problematic. Allie's on a date with someone and makes it clear that she's not interested in Noah and yet he's can't take no for an answer and basically stalks her and keeps pestering her. Threatens his own life to make her go out with him. Wtf. It's really manipulative. If he was an ugly dude, he'd be the antagonist and considered to be extremely creepy.
I hate that movie.
