- Our buddy Will Roegge had a 80s Porsche 911 at one point in time. Then he sold it... then our friends at Kelly Moss Road and Race picked it up. And turned it into this gorgeous 911 Safari spec build. Purists may cringe, but we think this thing is absolutely awesome. Especially from behind the wheel.

Oh how I envy you guys. Just having fun for a living. I realize it's not all supercars and sunshine but just looking at your expressions, it's obvious to all how much fun you're having. I can't think of a day in my career where I had a smile that big on my face. Enjoy the ride guys; figuratively and literally.
Running a 911 on dirt is not blasphemy. Porsche took the 911 rallying back in the day (and did pretty well IIRC)
They even won the Dakar rally with a 911!, so it's not a blasphemy, it's a homage

@@jacm2002 actually, for the 1984 Paris-Darkar, Porsche ran a modified Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 4x4 (designated 953), which placed 1st! The 959 was ran in 1986. But, agreed, definitely not blasphemy given Porsche history on the dirt. East African Safari Classic Rally, Dakar, etc.
This is the best of the best of all 911 off roaders. Amazing job. Bravo!

@@LarryChenPhoto I have heard alot about the history of the safari and it would be a dream but i am only 14 so i have to wait a bit! And it's not many or even any in Norway so it would be a dream in it self to just see it!

The amount of squat the Safari had helped it maintain a HUGE amount of traction on the gravel. 10/10 on drive-ability.

Car looks good, and was redone well. Even if I had a Volkswagen bug that I built, I wouldn't let a bunch of people drive it like it was $300 go-cart at a go-cart track that they could just crash, laugh, and walk away from.
They were rallying 911s in Ireland back in 1973.

It's a german doctor who collects and races old rally Porsche (normal rally and Safari-style), he even bought an old military transporter and converted it into a support truck, and he did the Transsiberia with Porsche in their specialty SUV.
Title says "Porsche Blasphemy". That car looks like it's having the time of its life. Any car that looks that happy and at home doing what it's doing is not blasphemy.

It’s based off the time and products invested into the build, but as the rarity of 911 safari’s become harder to find the price will also reflect that.
