Dude, I have stolen all of your sounds now. This has been the best tutorial series I've seen so far. It was exactly what I needed to progress. Could you PLEASE make more tutorials? Specifically, I'd love a tutorial on 1. Kick drum shaping 2. Psytrance percussion creation
Also, looking at your Soundcloud made me discover a lot of new labels and artists I had completely missed. Thanks for everything!

Another way to balance the second harmonic with the fundamental is to put the operator into additive algorithm rather than FM that it’s in to begin with. Then turn up the second oscillator in sine wave mode to the same level as your sawtooth. Next adjust the phase of the sine while looking at the signal in voxengo span set in low freq mode. As you adjust the phase of the sine oscillator you will see the fundamental change in amplitude. The aim is to get the sine wave to cancel out the fundamental frequency (made of a sine wave) they phase each other out so the fundamental drops when they are aligned correctly. It’s a clever trick that avoids unnecessary eq and it’s usually better to cut rather than boost. Or rather cut to make a sound better , boost to make a sound different. General rule of thumb.

can you do a tutorial for the long dragged forest bass like in for example Curuja's Swamp Moonlight? I can kind of achieve that if i record a low heavy single note from vb-1 and reverse the clip, but the problem is that i can't realign it and bring it back to phase. Also, it's so awkward to nail the amp and pitch envelope if you're gonna reverse the clip later. Also, curuja in this track slides the bass note up and down, I have no idea how to do that with this method. Please if you can make a tutorial on this i would really appreciate it! thanks

In your opinion, is it best to go with Ableton suite and use those tools or get the standard addition and buy different tools/plug-in with the remaining $300? Thank you :)
