To the ones posting negative comments like "Over 50 No- Just no" are not helpful, unnecessary and unkind. Just because off shoulder tops are not your taste or don't work for you doesn't mean you have to invalidate her content. Marie-Anne was showing you different options to style it, not forcing you to wear it, she deserves at least some appreciation and gratitude for all her work.

I so agree, we women should love and support each other! All people should, where does all this anonymous hate come from? I suppose making critical, unpleasant comments makes those with inferiority complexes feel better. I recently lost -53# and went from wearing a size 12 to a size 8. You can bet that I'm wearing off the shoulder tops this summer and my collar bones look amazing in off the shoulder! Wear what you feel good in! I'm so skinny now and I feel amazing in my new body! ps. check out the Carnivore diet! Easy and effective!
@@655Louisa that's amazing! A healthy diet is fundamental because it's about health more than just aesthetics. I've also lost some weight doing Keto, going from size 10 to 6 (UK) and still in shape. I've never had weight issues but during lockdowns I gained some weight and wasn't feeling right. Congratulations and enjoy your chic, Louisa! Well done! 💐🌞

This video came at a perfect moment. I've become tired of seeing crop tops being worn by everyone- and off the shoulder tops is the best way to achieve the feminine casual look.
Yesterday night I dusted off an 8-10 year old black sheer batwing sleeve (a little dated I know) off shoulder top (with straps) out of the corner of my closet (which I somehow had never worn before).
I paired it with high waisted black trousers, a belt and feminine flat sandals (like you suggested- balancing masculin and feminin.) and I felt fabulous for the party!
I'm under 30 but your styling tips work for so well for all women

Oh, I wish I could wear off-the-shoulder, Marie-Anne, as you've shown us how elegant they can look. Even before I knew I was an inverted triangle, I've always tried to take the attention away from my shoulders which I wish were a bit narrower.
It can be done Nicky but it needs a deft touch so better to be safe 😘
The top is gorgeous. I wasn’t keen on the red trousers but the grey was a winner 👍
Would love tips on where to find good strapless bras for these tops.
If not sure of size which really matters when strapless, can try ‘em on at Victoria’s Secret & make sure it fits properly.

Since following this channel I have followed the 3 colour rule. Takes more thought, particularly when buying new garments, how they work together. The off shoulder top looks very elegant. Down under, we are heading into winter.

I love your looks, yes I get cramps alot since I'm older, I have to get up and walk around.
I think this top would be great with your white flared jeans, with the navy and white slingbacks for a smart look, or the tan flat sandals for a casual one. I’m very partial to white bottoms, especially for spring and summer! White works with every color, even tricky black, and is so classic with navy. You’re looking beautiful, dear Marie-Anne!❤

YOU look great but I think that, for most of us, there is just something about a “femme d’une certaine age” wearing an off-the-shoulder top that screams “ trying too hard”… Into my early seventies, I can’t kid myself - nobody wants to see the droopy old shoulders I shrugged so enchantingly in the seventies! Maybe there should be a cut-off age and maybe it should be written into the law for those moments when we get memory lapses and think it’s 1969 again ; and we’re back at Woodstock and look terrific - ha ha!
As a 70+ yr. old , I go w/ the saying : " If you wore it ( a fad ) once , you're shouldn't wear it again " . Also remember : " If it ain't pretty , don't put it out on the porch " . 😂 A few exceptions perhaps w/ pieces that are classics but still ... 🤨 😅

Question if I may … do French ladies of our/your age wear jean jackets?
Of course, they have been around for years now and are an easy addition when there is a chill or the outfit asks for a jacket . But perhaps it is not common in Western Europe. (Canadian here.) Thank you.

Just a half-hour ago I was helping my 94-year old Dad with preventing muscle cramps, which he is now getting for the first time. Drinking more water and getting enough electrolytes is the answer. Fresh fruit and milk also help. He decided to try Gatorade, a widely-available (US) electrolyte replacement drink, but I can’t stand the sugar and artificial flavors in it. If the cramps keep coming back after rehydration, I take magnesium and potassium supplements from the health food shop. I get foot cramps a lot more in the morning, when we’re often a bit dehydrated after hours of sleep.

I love the Chanel style pumps. Something very significant about blue or black toes with cream color on the rest of the shoe. It makes the feet look very small!

I love the off the shoulder tops. I crocheted several this year. A navy sweater in a med weight bamboo yarn (gorgeous drape, breathable, and a nice soft sheen), with a three quarter sleeve, and two in mercerized Pima cotton, on with a simple long sleeve and one with a bell sleeve. They turned out beautifully and very easy to do.

Even though, at age 64, I weigh the same as on my wedding day, my waist is at least 4” bigger now! It’s really frustrating, there’s not much we can do about middle-thickening around menopause. I haven’t tried an off-shoulder top yet, mostly because of the strapless bra problem. The ones with those sticky silicone strips need someone to hook it in the back for me. That Lily Silk one might tempt me to try again, though❤

I’m really loving the off the shoulder navy top. I love the top with the jeans. I actually liked the cos skirt with the top untucked. The red trousers look fab! Not trendy timeless😊 Where are the black shoes from? Are they comfortable? After seeing what you mean about the juction with the red trousers - perhaps a belt with the cos skirt would create a nicer waistline - I just thought the two materials were nice together-very feminine and pretty. I get very painful cramps in lower legs. A small amount of salt in water is very helpful.
