I snow checked a 2006 Yamaha Attack .. It ran out of gas while trying to drive it onto my trailer at the dealership. After I got my sled home I got a letter from the dealer telling me that I need to bring it back to them for maintenance. After I rode it a few times I realized the Dealer never greased the sled when they set it up ..
Some Zerks just leaked grease out the sides so I welded them in place.. My skid is broke and I have a Team Fast Diamond M010 style suspension to install at 3,800 miles..
My sled still has the original battery and starts just fine @ 40-F .. Thus my battery is 17 years old or more.. Acid Mad batteries are durable .. I have always kept a battery tender on it ..

That’s the old way of setting track tension and alignment. Get yourself an ISAT gauge and make your life easier. You should do a video on showing that tool. Best and easiest tool in my arsenal of sled tools.

Should have taken the negative off first and put on last

You should do a video on replacing slides on a true Yamaha skid, you’d need a MUCH bigger hammer!

All kidding aside, I’m surprised you didn’t also include inspection of the driveshaft to caliper bearing free play, as this design is terrible and prone to failure since the shaft spins in the bearing causing shaft free play???

If I was you I’d be so embarrassed. How Yamaha keeps you as marketing in Canada. I can see why Yamaha is losing. Does yamaha have 7% of the market or less now. Let the loyal customers know. Anybody can make a video on changing sliders. Maybe you should drive around too the dealerships in alberta and Saskatchewan and find what we want in a sled.
