I totally understand the obsession with cucumbers in salads, marinated or not. Even though my kids are adults and don't live with me, my marinated cucumbers are still one of their favorite things.

I don't have to explain how hot it gets here in Florida! 🥵🌞
AC is a must! I've even turned it on in the Winter when need be.
Seems like we go from Winter straight into Summer and back to Winter! Skips Summer & Fall!
We'll have heat until at least October possibly Winter. I wear shorts & sandals pretty much all year round here. It's been known to get to 80° in December! I'm not complaining! 😂
    I don't like cold weather! 🥶
Nice haul! Have a great vacation! 🥰

I live in South Louisiana and our heat wave starts in June thru September. The humidity & the dew point really makes a difference. Costco is about a thirty minute drive from where I live but Sam's Club is a ten minute drive 🚗 so I go there once every two weeks. The prices are about two dollars cheaper. I am so happy you showed the prices, thanks. I also follow Happy Girl Alaska on CZcams.

Hello and welcome. Our heat wave lasted about 5 days, not 4 months like you! I grew up in Texas and remember the heat and humidity. Costco is about a 20’minute drive for us. I absolutely love Sams club but they closed down in Alaska 3 years ago and I am still sad about it. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day!

$92 in gas at $3.25/ gallon.
Most stations here near me in Northern Ohio are around $3.09, Sam's Club was $2.67!! So I filled up, and I do it first thing too. Not because I will drive off after, but because the price has gone up while inside before, and I am not taking that chance. Lines were so long for the $2.67 gas, it took forever to get to a pump.

My husband and father in law are in Alaska right now on a big trip. They just visited Homer today and I know Kodiak is on the itinerary. I have agoraphobia and do not travel, but I found myself envious of the cooler weather that they are in right now. Summers in the Willamette Valley ( Oregon) are a miserable nightmare. I get sick from the heat, I'd much rather be cold.
