She is kind, elegant, intelligent, pure, caring, honest, loving & forgiving! A true passionate humanitarian, an Icon and an amazing Inspiration. Her talents and her beauty are just a plus to top off the list of how amazingly humble and discipline she was as a Actress, Friend, Mother Daughter, Women and Human.
One minute in to the video and my heart is so joyful 😭💜
I adore Audrey Hepburn, always have and I always will🌹
Such a fine tribute to her, Audrey Hepburn. A true one of a kind human being. She graced our world with her wit, humor and beauty. But, her true beauty was her desire and determination to diminish the sufferings of others. Heaven lavished its gifts upon her, and in turn, she freely gave them all away to benefit the world. Lovely.
She was and still is the embodiment of art and grace ❤️
She never forgot the war years and continued to work for children who were victims of war. She was beautiful and talented but she also cared very much about children.
Gone way too young. Such a natural beauty and kind human.
the most beautiful woman who ever walked God's earth. I met her in Eze Le Relais and she lit the room and was the most charming company
Oh, lucky you! What a beautiful brush with history! ❤
Lovely memory
No argument here , she was so beautiful agreed
You sound like a real fuckin cook there Pat.
@@james3440 Weirdo
She was such a sweet woman , and she had
Roles that made her
A heroine...
The ancient world had Helen as the most beautiful woman on earth. Our world had Audrey Hepburn.
A combination of inner and outer beauty, refinement and aristocracy, a fragile appearance and a strong character, an extraordinary mind and a huge heart - all this is Audrey. If there are angels in human form on Earth, Audrey was certainly one of them. A delightful woman. From Russia with love.
Just looking at her makes the heart swell. To hear her voice makes it flutter. To see her move was to witness a grace meant for angels.
You describe her as only an artist could. Well done.
@@carolberwindscheffler2708 Thank you!
It really means a lot to me to be recognized and to be described as an artist to boot! Wow! You're awesome! The internet doesn't even deserve you, but I'm glad you're here. Have a wonderful life!! ❤❤❤
Only Audrey Hepburn could have played that role - she won no awards. But without her there would have not been 8 awards for that movie.
That Movie was 'My Fair Lady'
This woman had a soul of an angel
The epitome of class.
Among all the wannabes, all of the ego maniacs, and those who would
have sold their souls for a casting
call, - Audrey Hepburn was no wannabe - of any kind, and she
frankly could have used a little more
ego, and she wouldn't give-up her
own personal bedtime prayers let-
alone her soul for a 'casting-call'.
Audrey Hepburn was the personifi-
cation of class. I cannot say that
about many people. She gave
meaning to the word 'grace'. She
was in all respects, - a true lady.
I've only really seen Breakfast At Tiffany's, but I am officially going to watch all her movies. It's crazy how we only really know the superficial one dimensional bios of some of the most genuine, greatest and kind people, isn't it?
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a wonderful classic but you should really watch Roman Holiday if you love her work. It’s my personal favorite. I really liked War and Peace too but I feel like you gotta be in the mood for it. It’s long and serious, but still so good. Was surprised to hear it didn’t do better when it first came out.
@Tiger Lily
I suggest Charade with Audrey and Cary Grant, it’s a delightful movie.
You’ll fall in love with her the more reading up you do. It’s what happened to me. Now she’s my forever inspiration. 💓
Sabrina is my favorite ❤️
Roman Holiday! Such a great debut.
THANK YOU!! I'm such a fan of her! How can anyone not just fall in love with her
*hers
Such a face , such a smile , personality , charismatic .
I name my dog Audrey after Audrey Hepburn. Looking back maybe it’s not so flattering to have an animal named after you, but I didn’t think about it like that at the time. And my Audrey is the sweetest most loving and gentle animal ever. Just like the og Audrey ❤️❤️❤️
sometimes our animals are the only true ones that deserves such a name to be named after... people can ruin it while Most Animals hold up to their Awesome Nature..
@@lou4134 Well said. I completely agree ❤️
My best friend of 15 years was a shepherd husky named Miss Dorothy Parker, after the famous and ascerbic writer. I think it's a compliment. I had a Siamese cat who lived for 15 years as well his name was Nijinska after the brilliant sister of the famous dancer Nijinski.
@@withgoddess You must be a great pet owner (even though they really own us). I believe happy dogs live the longest. I lost my miniature dachshund at age 15 and last spring I lost my half dachshund half chihuahua. She had turned 17 the same month.
A person trying to be nasty to me once recognize that I talked about God a lot and how he helped me your sobriety and just helping me be happy in life... he said do you know that God's felt backwards his dog.. in an instance inspired by God maybe... I replied... yes got spells dog, and dog is man's best friend
I never took much interest in her, but this documentary had me in tears what a truly Beautiful human.
She was so beautiful!
The narrator's accent and pronounciation sounds just like Audrey herself
The narrator’s accent is quite soothing
Audrey was so beautiful like England princess Diana they both had rough life and struggled a lot,People loved them both.
In Memoriam Audrey Hepburn, one of the most exquisite, graceful, elegant, genuine and immensely generous women who has ever lived.
Thanks for this wonderful documentary !!!
Loved her film Roman Holiday. She was perfect in it.
What an amazing person, talented, humble and generous
She's legendary and a figure to many. I think because she accept herself and don't let people change the true value of herself. She just took any role she wanting to emulate and she done 1000% delivering it. It's hard to even imagine how her films would be possibly done with different actresses and she is humanitarian icon too! She wants to do that since young and she has done it
How could one not appreciate such a beautiful woman both inside and outside? God bless her.
Magnificent Woman that I Loved & Admired
*You have to do Julie Andrews next!! It's crazy how long she's been alive and all the change she's seen.*
Audrey easily tops the list of the people, celebrities, and actors I most admire & love.💎🕊️🎯✔️💛
Hi this was a very good and beautifully put together documentary about an amazing person, with many different talents.
As far as I’ve interpreted her life story, she was mostly at peace when she were able to do aid as a humanitarian. She was born in Austria, then moved with her family to the Uk, at the end of 1939 the family left the UK and moved to Amsterdam (and Audrey H actually lived in that same (now famous) triangle building complex, where both Anne Frank and Eva Schloss lived (Eva Schloss was a good friend of Anne Frank and her mother, married Anne Frank’s father, Otto Frank a couple of years after the WW|| had ended back to Audrey’s upbringing, the family moved to the Netherlands because they thought they would stay neutral during WW|| as they’d done during WW|, but ney ney, Audrey Hepburn’s parents were both Nazi-sympathizers, and her father worked as a “Nazi-hunter”, whereas Audrey’s uncle was in the resistant movement and was shot/executed by the Nazis.
But it was through her uncle she was as able to help raise money for food and clothes to those who had to go into hiding.
After the war, and after Anne Frank’s father had let published his youngest daughter diary, he, Otto Frank wanted Audrey Hepburn to play his daughter when the diary was dramatized for the first time, but she couldn’t do it at the time. It’s said that she suffered from “survivor complex” and PTSD from the war.
Her biggest passion was to be able to work for UNICEF, as a humanitarian.
When magazine referred to her as a actress, she always said something along the lines of “you’re too kind, I’m educated dancer and humanitarian”..
Audrey Hepburn seem to have been an absolutely wonderful person, with lots of compassion for people in need. She believed she was capable of making a positive difference in the world and she proved over and over again, how capable she really was. She was capable when she was a child in the Netherlands and she was capable throughout her entire life.
I’m amazed by her 🙏❤️🌱🤍
One woman who is truly special 💖
What a charming documentary on an extremely charming leading lady, and narrated by an elegantly spoken narrator! While Julie Andrew would more than likely have given My Fair Lady a unique and authentic quality that only she could have, Audrey more than held her own with her equally unique beauty, charm, style and natural talent. Her performance was impeccable and convincing as Eliza, the brash, impish Cockney flower girl, and as Eliza Doolittle, the polished, aristocratic beauty. Importantly, only Audrey with her delicate beauty and innate elegance could carry off Cecil Beaton’s sumptuous, iconic costumes. Audrey and Beaton’s creations were a marriage made in heaven. This significant contribution from Audrey to the film has, I think, been overlooked by most critics and commentators.
One of my favorite films from Audrey is The Nun’s Story. This is one of her finest performances. Her portrayal of a committed, selfless young nun embarking on a humanitarian mission that eventually led to internal struggles with her self identity and faith was deeply felt and moving. Audrey’s inner core as a decent, loving, and dedicated human being really shined through in this role.
Audrey Hepburn’s life and career have been a special gift, a ray of sunshine to brighten the dreariness of life, a joyful note to gladden our heavy hearts. As Maurice Chevalier sang in Gigi, “Thanks heaven for little girls”, thanks heaven, indeed, for Audrey Hepburn.
I love her in fact I'm naming my daughter after her one day
Same here. She’s embodies the woman every young girl should be looking up to, not the celebs we have today.
This documentary was beautiful done. She was a beautiful person inside and out.
I am 80 yrs old and I remember cuting my hair to look like her when I was a child. I put my hair behind the bed so my parents wouldn't know haha

Such a beautiful and gentle Lady
Beautiful documentary, very well done. Ravishing Ms. Hepburn.
Audrey Hepburn was a classic brunette beauty, just as Grace Kelly was a classic blonde beauty. These two women were legends.
Grace was talented but not warm
@@kirk1007 What? Explain.

Grace Kelly was more then warm. She was an Angel just like Audrey Hupburn. My 2 greatest Woman in Movie forever.
What an amazing woman 💕 way beyond her successful career, a great humanitarian.
This amazing woman is the inspiration for Jenna from Balto 1-3
Sharing many characteristics - beauty in and out, sharing her opinion despite what was considered acceptable at the time, and going out of her way to promote her beliefs for not herself but others
Absolutely stunning.. in every way
She is a wonderful woman 🥰
I loved this woman! ❤
I just love her so much more!

Her last film role was actually in the 1989 Spielberg film 'Always', playing a... guardian angel.
Thank you
Chastity and elegance are her secrets.

Oof, yikes. "Chastity" had nothin to do with it.
@@jellytribe1493 yes it had!

Why has Hollywood not written a script for a film of her life starring Natalie Portman?! Can we get that please!?

Gorgeous. Back when women were el natural.
The only " natural " women were paleolithic/ neanderthal. women who were unadorned till they picked up a feather and. Stuck it in their hair
What face...to behold..the charisma...I m from the millenial generation of 90s ...A lot of facial affinity..with Elizabeth Debicki....the Aussie power house..
