Old Japanese Relics - A Spin off to the Swedish version "Old Swedish Relics", is a series of Historic rally videos dedicated to praising the car manufactures of a particular country - This time cars from Japan.
In this 15-minute-long video, there are all kinds of old historic Japanese cars that are older than 30 years, such as the Toyota Celica, Datsun 260Z, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Starlet, Mazda 323 and Mazda RX-7 amongst others. If you are a fan of 30+-year-old Japanese cars, this video is for you. Old Japanese cars competing in the Swedish rallye forests. As these Japanese cars are not that common in the historic class Appendix K, I've decided to include some from the tuned class and the 4x4 class, as well as cars from the 1300 cup (Suzukis). Unlike the previous videos in the series where only those competing in Appendix K Historic class are allowed, this video is more open as long as the cars are above a certain age.
Despite their age, they often go on the wide line instead of the narrow one, and sometimes even end up beside the road after pushing their car too far. But as with all historic cars, they compete for fun.
Sit back and relax to this compilation of old historic cars from Japan, from a time when cars still had unique shapes and each car had its own identifying mark, without all the electronics that are built into modern cars. Of course no music, just pure engine sound from cars of the past!
