@Zeta pretty close to what I did, instead I just made a 9:30 fireproof recipe(the cooking simulator is so helpful) and just went to the southern mine with the sheikah set and grabbed every lizard I could for that guy to give me the armor, in fact this is the situation where I actually decided to buy the shiekah set, before I just ignored it because it's too pricey, also the sheikah set helped so much with the yiga hideout, I had upgraded it to 2 stars by that point so I can walk up to them from behind instead of slowing crouch walking
Edit: oh and fireblight was my 4th blight too, I just got the flamebreaker armor piece earlier when I had 2 blights defeated(WInd and Water)
@Zeta yeah he's the guy wearing the Flamebreaker Helm in the Southern Mine, he gives you the Chest piece when you give him 10 Fireproof Lizards, and there are a ton that spawn in the Southern Mine
I like the soldier's gear without the headpiece the most because it makes Link look like he's a soldier once again before everything happened

To be fair, the Zora armor is aesthetically one of, if not THE best looking armor set, at least when it comes to the chest piece.

Snowquill is definitely my favourite looking armour set, the Zora helm kinda ruins the set for me tbh, just looks too goofy

Sheikah armor is super useful for surprising horses too.
Shiekah one is great, but the damn hood cloth things clip through every shield. So it looks like doodoo if you use it for combat purposes. Unless you use the shiek head as a replacement, then you can run your weapons and shields and bows.

For the amiibo it’s so true! I always play as either OOT Link, Fierce Deity Link, TP Link or WW Link but I love cosplaying as the first 2 I mentioned (OOT and FD Link) I just love being the hero of time in BOTW and I love the classics so it’s so accurate with the amiibo for me 😅

0:03 I like to pretend to be Link from 100 years ago! This video is accurate. I even sometimes like to use just the master sword to match the memory design. It makes me feel like I'm sticking to the canon.

I have him wear the hylian hood as well frequently, because it makes it feel like he's trying to hide his identity to not be recognized. Even though no one except the zora actually recognize you as Link it's still one of those cool things I like to do to be more in character. the hood/cloak for hiding, the tunic because he's a champion and wants to remember that, and the hylian pants because we aren't doing the soldier pants but I do want defense XD
For headpiece I add amber earrings, and use royal guard bow and hylian shield
But most times I’m just full Zora armor
i adore the Hylian armor but my go-to fit is the Diamond Circlet, Champion's tunic and Hylian Trousers. it just looks good
My outfit is pretty much exactly that, but with the Ruby Circlet because i spend way too much time in cold areas (there's just so many lynels to kill)

Though, as someone else pointed out, woulda been way more accurate for the stealth set to be "you love running around like a goblin, stuffing your pockets with everything you can find, and this is the only set that lets you jog straight up to critters to pocket them without startling them", lmao.

The Amiibo description is spot on. Being an old school Zelda fan, I don’t like the new canon Link outfit. It’s okay. But it’s just not the same. The hero of legend always wore a green tunic and cap.. why is he now blue???
My favorite is stealth because I like to pretend I'm a ninja.
(If you relate to this comment, there's a bokoblin camp between the Dueling Peaks that's really fun to do as a ninja. There's a hill that overlooks the camp, and on the hill there's a giant hole that you can shoot arrows through. Do it at night and they can't see you. Keep in mind that if you use bomb arrows the white bokos will launch into the river, and you can't farm their corpses for jewels.)

What I usually do is wear the champions tunic and then whatever gear i need to fit my environment (rito leggings and helm for cold, for example)

My favorite set is the stelth mask dyed back, white, or any other color, hylian tunic dyed white, and the ancient greaves dyed white.
I just really like the lights in the legs since they're the best looking part of the set, the chest plate would be cool if it didn't have gear teeth on the solder pads, if it were on the spine, then it would be better. We don't talk about the head piece. Occasionally I change out the hylian tunic for the climbing gear or the Islanders shirt from the wind waker.
What about the Wild set that you acquire from completing all 120 shrines? That's the gear I mainly go with.

Yup, me too. At first I was like 'wtf those boy scout trousers' but now I like it a lot. And is botw's rendition of the classic look so yeah, I was also a bit surprised for it not being on the video.
Sometimes I wear it with Majora's Mask, as it allows to play with the enemies in other ways. I mean, not 'sometimes'. I wear it so much that having Link without it became strange at some point. The power of darkness I guess

All are accurate, but the Zora one hit really hard. Even now, I just use other helmets and greaves, but the chest is always covered with Mipha's love.

I use the Hylian Hood and Soldier's armor. Its a well-serving armor, expecially since I got into RPing the whole game, and my Link embraced the amnesia and just made a name for himself.

whenever i go to a major village like Zora's Domain or Rito Village i tend to put on the armour sets associated with them as a sort of "respect" towards their people
also because the armour sets give buffs pertaining to the locations (zora armour makes you swim faster, snowquill gives cold-resistance, etc.)
I usually use the Hylian armour with the climbing bandana, both green dyed, and the pants dyed in white. It fills like an updated version of the classic green robes

I've given myself the challenge of maxing out my inventory, so I need to get around a lot.
I gotta say I really do like Link in his Champions Tunic. The way the box art depicts him. I feel like it's how he should canonically look in cutscenes, so I always have it on when doing important moments.
That zora one is VERY accurate.

Champion set and Wild set are my favorites to wear, love Link's new look but it's nice that he has his own version of the classic clothes.
I’ve honestly played the game so much that I even have custom color schemes for a lot of the costumes, I have green zora armor, my Hylian Hood is always white. And my Shiekah armor is white/red. Those I can remember just off the top of my head

I love the Hylian armor, I wear it all the time when I'm in towns, so that people think "oh what a normal traveler".
The Amiibo is mostly accurate to me, and I especially felt called out when you showed the Hero of Time armor set, since Ocarina of Time is my overall favorite game ever, and my favorite incarnation of Link.
I also might be slightly biased in saying it's the best game in the series.

I use the tunic of the wild and the ancient hero tunic, since they look similar in design, not to mention the tunic of the wild set has the highest defense out of the other green tunics and still gets the attack boost once its upgraded twice.
I used my 30th anniversary Zelda amiibo, got Epona as well and the difference paragliders.

The Champions Tunic is absolutely amazing it’s my favorite outfit to wear. I truly love how significant it is, how much history goes into ,and just it’s simplistic and awesome design. There’s a reason when I play this game this is what I wear.

The amiibo one is absolutely correct I have alot of the amiibo clothing and weapons and usually just use fully powered master sword and hylian shield I only put on bow when I need it
I'm always flipping back and forth between pretty much all of them, but I default back to the Climbing set. I do a lot of climbing and I don't want it to take that long.
Soldiers fear with the hylian hood dyed black is the look I always go with. Just makes link look badass
The Hylian Armor dyed dark green is just the perfect classic Link armor
I like wearing the climbing shirt, with the Rito pants, and either Rito or Gerudo hair.

Usually just for my own sanity I grab the phantom armor when I do a straight to gannon run
I just use whatever I'm supposed to use because it takes like 2 seconds to change clothes and I'm not making heat/cold/fire/lightning resistant food all the time. I think I ended up using the sheika set vs Ganon because it was really easy to upgrade to max. Everything else needed like dragon scales or something annoying to get.

My horse is most certainly depressed, and I usually leave it stuck on the top of a mountain or something.
Me who went out of my way to max out the Barbarian armor:.....yeah.....
once i get enough resources i intend to mainline majora's mask (monster omni-disguise) or diamond circlet (guardian resist up, high defense, looks good) with champion's tunic (single best defensive armor piece in the game when fully upgraded) and ancient greaves (high defense, guardian resist up)

bro I love the barbarian gear and that is 100% true about me! I was not expecting this to be accurate.
My outfit i wear 90% of the time, OoT hat, Green Hylian Tunic and standard Hylian Trousers (or Skyward sword trouser on how many star fragments i got) I like looking like a regular Link but also want it updated so the green Hylian tunic works well while the OoT hat is the closes green that matches(a bit off but still very close if not looking for it)
0:37 I actually really like the soldier set except for the ugly head peice so I just use a fully upgraded set of amber earrings as a substitute and since I can't see them unless i get the camera really close I don't get to where the head piece but get the same amount of defense

Personally? I took the Cap of the Wild and the Traveller's Attire tunic, dye them both the same shade of green, then pair them with the undyed Traveller's trousers. Looks just like a modern Link tunic, but the leather armor and patterns on the ends of the sleeves and skirt make it feel unique, like a tunic made for BotW Link specifically. Really comes together nicely.

I ALWAYS unlock the classic outfits with Amiibos. Even in TotK I have the Twilight Princess outfit fully upgraded. And now I'm trying to get OoT.
I personally like to wear the OOT set but replace the chest piece with a green hylian chest piece, it just looks so much better

With rubber armor you don't need to carry wooden weapons because of the set bonus.
