- We met up with the locals to skimboard at the largest water mirror in the world, the miroire d'eau in Bordeaux (Place de la Bourse). The perfect skim and scenery made for one of the most fun urban sessions to date. Enjoy!

anyone know any urban skim spots in Raleigh NC? I had to change cities. Dont know if there are any plazas in the city that are well known for conditions, and not sure if there might be popular spots in the outskirts' shopping centers. It's pouring now, and I would usually go hit it if I had my regular spots and regular skim, like watching a surf forecast. Might have to settle for wet flatland flowin on the longboard, then conditions matter less. Great to see you hit it tho, I need to resettle here.
Good spots usually mean big fountains, big fountains are usually the most well known so just look for the most popular ones in your city there shouldn't be many

Hey Adrien! First of all great video! I really enjoyed it.
I'm part of the "local skimboarders" here in Bordeaux, and since last time you came we tried some new things out here (kickers, various modules and tricks). One of them is absolutely stunning, and you have to try it next time you come :
with my bike and a simple rope, i can pull you super fast and do infinite loops all around the Miroir d'Eau. The speed in the the curves is amazing! (I personally worked out the skill to find the perfect curve on my bike for ZZZuper speed).
You can do rounds, eights, and some more complex cross trajectory, while doing all the tricks you want and jump on kickers. I'm convinced you would love it.
Actually there are many other projects underway, and more complex (motorized) builds will soon see the water.
My question is : when are you coming back?
Me and the local group we're going to organize an event with all the community and beginners. Seeing you there would be the ultimate win🤞🏼

Nooo, don't worry. Falling on concrete feels just like falling in a foam pit. It's guaranteed risk free, otherwise it wouldn't be such a widespread sport.
