  • The Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) is very pleased to be welcoming Professor Andreas Bieler.
    Andreas Bieler is a Professor of Political Economy at the University of Nottingham. His general expertise is in the area of International Relations/International Political Economy theories and the analysis of European integration as well as resistance to neo-liberal globalisation with a particular emphasis on the possible role of labour movements understood in a broad sense. He is author of Global Capitalism, Global War, Global Crisis (with Adam. D. Morton) (CUP 2018) and Fighting for Water: Resisting Privatization in Europe (Zed Books 2021).
    The title of Andreas's talk is "Divisions in the Core of Global Capitalism? Italian Labour and Free trade".
    The Centre for the Study of Social and Global Justice (CSSGJ) is an independent and critically oriented research centre dedicated to promoting free education.
