This turned out really well, especially the cup. The "flip it around" test is a good pro-tip, even though you didn't mention it as you showed it. You caught some things that you might never have noticed had you not flipped the canvas over. I've never heard of Sara, so I'm looking forward to seeing what she did with the reference you gave her.
Yes! Flipping the canvas is always so helpful to catch things you wouldn't have before and also to make your lines / edges cleaner :) Thank you! Definitely check out Sara, she's awesome!

I think this is my favorite painting of you, this is just stunning! Love the softness of this piece. Can you tell me the colors you used? I have Watermixable oils too but mixing colors is still so hard for me.

Arrived here from Sara’s video and was greeted with a really beautiful painting! Also as a question if you don’t mind, do you notice any major differences in water soluble oils vs traditional oils?
Thank you for coming over! Happy to have you 😊 Regarding your question, I don't notice a major difference in their consistency. There will be a difference depending on the brand but not because it's water mixable or traditional, if that makes sense. But of course the major difference if just the fact that you could clean your brushes with water instead of solvents. I hope this helps!! ✨
