I'm not sure why people with dark brown to almost black hair think they can achieve the exact color that's on the box. The model on the box could have black hair, but with technology these days, you can make your hair any color. That or the model had their hair professionaly done. To lift your hair to a lighter color, your already needs to be naturally light, or bleach it. Box dyes are never guaranteed.
