Hi Holly, Thank you for this video. One thing I really liked that you said you were kind to yourself and you celebrated just getting an interview. I think this is something I need to learn from. I just found out I am 26th on the reserve list following an interview this year, but, instead of celebrating how much of an improvement this is from last year and still being hopeful because I have another interview lined up in May I am really upset that this is my 4th year applying and I still feel that I am not at the standard I need to be at. Your video really helped me realise how important it is to reflect on the achievements you are making and to be kind to yourself when things don't go how you hope they will go.

      Hi Hazel,
I'm so pleased to hear it helps! Absolutely something I have only recently learnt how to apply to myself! I have found it so much more helpful than working with my nose to the ground constantly! The best way to go into an interview is with confidence, and acknowledging your achievements is a good way to improve your confidence :) Absolute best of luck! Everything crossed for you! x

are you able to expand on asking you to design a research study? like would they give you some information to base it off of or is it completely free for you to make up any study at all? I understand if you can't answer this!

Again, it depends on the course really :) Some might give information, some might not! Sorry - I know it's super vague!

When you say they may ask you to critique a piece of research. What exactly are they looking for here, any tips or examples?

In that scenario they would be looking for how well you can be critical, balanced, and analytical. I would structure your answer and summarise at the end. I can't give examples I'm afraid!
