ok i wanted to address this here so i don’t have to repeat it a bunch of times, i realize i say “hobby lobby” a lot in this video. like i stated at the beginning, i got all my supplies there on a whim. i was going in for something quick, saw the rug supplies which i was excited about bc my joannes had been sold out for a while and bought them there. no this was not sponsored by them nor do i regularly go there or support them. in my area i have a choice between michaels joannes and hobby lobby and hobby lobby happened to be the only store with the supplies in stock. no i am not christian and i don’t support any of hobby lobby’s morals, in fact any time that i go in i cringe and laugh at all the silly merchandise they have. i apologize for not addressing this during the video.
What is happening with hobby lobby? I’m not from America so I don’t really know this stuff.
I have so many hobbies like clay, needle felting, crocheting, calligraphy, scrapbooking, watercolour, but this...this is temping

yay! i missed the premiere (rip) but this video was very informative!! i have a ton of chunky yarn left over from a fiber arts class and ive wanted to use the remnants if i ever try my hand and punch needle artwork! also 10/10 on the intro because i see waaaaaaaay too many people just taking designs from other artists (and even selling them???) idk what it is but 100% agreed to either buy from the artist or just make original work/add your own style to it! period
it’s ok i just premiered it so people knew it was coming :)) and yes i wanted people to know it wasn’t a “DIY someone else’s design” type of video!!

oh getting a punch needle is the best thing that has ever happened to me. i'm in the middle of my project rn, a 50x40cm rug :) i love it
and i'm using acrylic too for a start. looking to use milk cotton yarns and regular cotton too in the future. let's see where we end up eh :)

TY for your PSA about stealing other artists designs!!! I see so many small art studio vlogs on YT being suggested to me and I start watching them and most of them have licensed character designs that they sell and that is illegal and it is stealing art! I’ve been clicking off and asking YT to not suggest their channel to me any longer … the sad thing is that their original art in there is typically very good but I can’t abide the stealing of licensed characters and profiting because that gets them more money than their own art at art shows or online - but actually its just flat out stealing when they have not bought the licensed rights and lets be honest that is sooo expensive to purchase and we know they are not buying all those characters license rights. People please don’t buy licensed character art from people that don’t have the rights - they are stealing and also stealing away sales from other artists!

hmm the small ones take about 30 minutes to needle punch. as far as sealing that takes about 2 days

i was wondering if you can use roberts carpet glue to finish the backing of a punch needle rug?
hmmm i would think so, i like using the carpet sealant because it’s made to make sure the fibers don’t move at all. i assume carpet glue is made to do the same :)

The spackle thing is called a putty knife (at least, where I’m from)
You might want to do some research on Hobby Lobby - they have some questionable business practices. And most of the yarn you are going to find there is made of plastic and fibers that are bad for the environment. I highly recommend finding another source for materials as your work is lovely.
Since they are a religious corporation they won't pay for womens contraceptives or care and not only that but illegally bought thousands or Iraqi artifacts that were pilfered from their museums during war.

make sure your yarn is loose! if it’s being pulled tight it won’t stay in :)
