  • If you have never visited Camp Scholler at Airventure then you may not have a good idea of how big it is and how many people camp there during the week of Airventure. Here is a tour of Camp Scholler.

I'd pick a spot between the wifi and nearest potties. Looks a great place to have a swap meet too.

Another question for those that have had their RV's there for more than a few days. I see you can pay for a mid week on site pump out service, but there is also a dump station. Is it practical to put in slides and just drive over and dump tanks, refill water mid week and get back to site to finish week or is it always a huge back up and too much pain. Can be later in day when arrivals are slow, just an idea so we dont need to spend a fortune on on site services. Thanks

Usually fly in and camp with plane, this year driving our "other rv" and have a decent solar set up, think we can live without air. I know the generators just scream, even in the just till 10PM areas, so thinking of our 32' rv parking in no genie area? Thoughts, think that would be a mistake? Sure would enjoy not hearing genies, thoughts?

We're driving our 22' class B. It has 300W solar and an under-hood generator. We're planning on parking in the non-genny area. I don't know what's gonna be left when we get there on Thursday the 25th.

I camped in a tent in the general camping area last year. My neighbors in the RVs on either side only used their generators for an hour or so in the morning and while cooking dinner in the evening. Everybody was very respectful with regards to the generator curfews. Although somebody a street up was running their generator 24/7 when they were not suppose to.

@@kenwilkerson1043 Spots will clear out on Thursday as some people leave after the night air show on Wednesday. I was there for the full week and had a few neighbors on the south side of my tent throughout the week.

I take it this video was taken the Sunday before the start of the airshow, right? People are coming in looking for spots, first come, first served on that Sunday?
