The sport is completely ruined and has declined in attendance and TV ratings every year since the inception of the Chase. It used to be hard to get a ticket to any race. My first Bristol race I attended was 160,000 strong and that was just the spring race in the daytime. Imagine the night race. I never paid less than a $100 a ticket back then. 2 years ago I went to Bristol for $30 a ticket. Sad really...
